Last known update after a 5 month stint from July 2006 being the last E-Mail I thought I was well and rid of hearing from Ms. Ivanova. But out of the Blue she e-mailed me in December 2006 with the nerve to thank me for the money that she scammed me out of. She told me that it came in handy for a vacation in the Caribbean! as well as breast implants? This BITCH has not learned anything! As I would assume shes laying low for her next unsuspecting victim.

She did e-mail me 4 days befor she was suposedley levaeing to come to see me to tell me that she did check with the embassy and found out her paper work was not legal. She never did ask me for a penny but asked me what she should do. She was vary upset and seaid that she quit her job and had been in Moscow sents July 3ed staying in an apartment she was suposed to fly out of Moscow on July 16th. She also go vary upset with me when I accused her of robbing me of my money. She also clamed that her intent was to fly to the U.S.A. and skip the flight home and stay here with me. I told her that she could get into a lot of trouble staying here if she was found to be an Illegal immagrent more than once. Her intent was to still skip the flight home and try to file for amnasty as well as get married to double her chances of staying. The Laws no longer protect married couples in the U.S. anymore if you married befor you got a green card you'll be deported. If you married after you got your green card you can stay.

G'day Brendan. i don't know if I agree with what the Embassy told you about "cash in her pocket". She can't travel on a tourist visa(or any visa for that matter) if she is "derelict". Either a good credit card or cash is required to leave Russia on any visa UNLESS YOU have completed and provided a "Sponsorship" document, which she would have to include with her visa application....meaning that she wold stay with you and you would support her, totally, financially. The Russian are trying to prevent her being turned back at your airport,as she has no visible/financial means of support whilst in your country...which usually means to your Customs officials that she is likely to do a runner, overstay her visa and work illegally in your country.Ok, now having said all that,Brendan, these Ruski sheilas know this and take for granted that you also should know...soooooo, they play on this factor and ask you for the money(whatever the amount is) and, naturally, when a bloke falls for this and sends the money to her...welllll, she vapourises, gets robbed, has a sick mom, gets mugged etc etc etc.so she and your dough disappear...as we all know here. BTw, sorry about your loos, mate, but you did minimize your exposure to the fraud and that's not a bad result. Hope she didn't hurt your heart too much....can't put a value on that,eh ?
