# Details: We got to know each other for a approximately a month or so thru instant messaging and speaking numerous times on the phone. I sent her $400.00 for tutition to complete nursing school. I requested to see her on web cam, but she claims her cam was broken and in for repair. She promised to show me herself at a later date. In the meantime, she sent me a forged scan of a passport to prove it was her.
A few weeks later, she then claimed she was in the hospital with malaria. She said she was speaking to me from the hospital. She claimed she collapsed at work and was taken by her coworkers to the hospital. She is a good actress she sounded really sick and lethargic. I called her on her cell phone atleast once a day to see how she was feeling and she appeared be be getting better and stronger each day. She said she was worried about the hospital bill because she couldn't afford to pay it. I would tell her to concentrate on getting well. This went on for about a week. Then she claimed the hospital was going to throw her in jail if she couldn't pay the bill and began crying. I felt really bad for her so sent her $850.00 to pay her bill.
I later found out she was using fake pictures. She was using pictures of Kristine Hermosa(www.kritinehermosa.com) a famous Filipino actress and singer. I confronted her and never heard for her again.
I sent the funds Western Union to Cebu City office to Rona Shane Rosales in 2 separate transactions($400 & $850).

I considered informing the Filipino Embassy, especially since she is using a forged passport and filing a report with the FBI and the police. In the end, I decided just to take the hit and consider it a life lesson. I own a multimillion dollar business and just don't have the time.
