Guys, I had her on the email beginning of the year. She stopped mailling in June after I challenged her about costs for travel and stuff. It just so happened I had to go to St. Petersburg in April this year and found out all this stuff when I was there.
She's history now but got the gardening story, photos and the sick mother side as well. She also changed her email address in February this year because of "problems". Got tons of photos from her.
What struck me first was that she never answered my questions, or rarely, and she ignored a lot of other things I wrote. She, he, it is not clever because I could see her writing about the same subject matter but it kept changing.
Any new news?

Someone else I wont mention by name sent me e-mails she used to send him. They sound very identical to the e-mails she sent me. The thing is though the pictures are different from the ones she sent me. So it might be someone trying to scam everyone. I suggest you all be careful. And DONOT send anyone you dont know money.

Watch out for this one as she can seem very convincing. Her trademark is that she says after half dozen e-mails that she loves you and you are always in her dreams. Not only sends pictures of herself but also examples of her work as a landscape gardener. Claims she is from Bratsk and also uses the e-mail address, elenusik.2005.48@rambler.ru.

I got a email from Elena stating she met me off some dating site a while back. She was constantly telling me how much she loves emailing me and how she looks forward into reading my emails. I knew something was up when she was from russia and she had such good english gammer and spelling.
She has switched emails constantly stating how somone got into her email and changed her password and such.
She seems like a sweet girl but in doubt she just likes to mess with guys heads. She never got into my head but unfortunaly the stuff she wrote made my girlfriend think something was going on and I was messing around behind her back. Elena is a freakin phsyco and BEWARE of this B*TCH

First of all, nice to see a site like this. 4 years ago, I fell victim to a scam by a Russian woman. Started out exacly like this guy's case, and then she started needing money for everything as she claimed she was very poor and destitute. Having a heart and some extra cash and due to the fact that this girl got me to fall in love with her, I gave in and decided to help her. I first sent her $350, much like the $380 she asked for in this case. Said she needed it for some applications to get entered into the U.S. Then she required $1800 for travel expenses (plane ticket, food, accommodations, etc.). I once again helped her out. After about a month of excuses as to why she had not yet come to see me, she asked for more money for basic living goods like groceries, toiletries, etc. I again sent her $250. After giving me excuse after excuse for another 3 weeks or so, I finally figured out what was going on and took the blinders off. She got over $3000 from me in all, over a 7 month period. She completely screwed me over as I was in love with Svetlana (her name she claimed). Took me about a year and a half to get over it and decide to move on. I was severely depressed, I lost weight, started smoking again, you name any destructive behavior I had it after Svetlana broke my spirit and heart.
I am posting this because Svetlana's e-mails were almost exactly like this girl Elena. Always told me she would send me her love over the ocean, that she dreamt of us being together in exotic locations all over the world, that she missed me and loved me. I was really touched, it was the greatest 7 months of my life. you can imagine the heartbreak when I finally got smart and figured out I was the victim of a con-artist. Guys, be careful with this. My advice is to avoid this altogether, but if you do wnat to contact a woman from overseas, do not send them anything. If they really love you, they won't take your money and love you for who you are.
