please get real. I don't mean to be mean, and maybe all you men have been hurt and are in a vulnerable spot, but look at the clothes, look at the fingernails, look at the professional photos, this stuff all costs money!!! These probably aren't even girls your talking to on email. It is a company. There is probably one or two girls with pretty voices to make a phone call or two to make it seem for real. And truthfully with all of the beautiful women in the US what are you going after these women for. Even seen what happens to some of these women around age 50? HAHA. I think if you have to buy a woman it is because you want to mold her to be your little robot. Why not get a real woman with a head on her shoulders, one who is independent and pretty and smart. Stick with American models! Unless you don't want a real woman

First contact 12/15/05 thru Yahoo personals. On 12/22 the con set-up began: travel to Russia then need $300-to $400 via Western Union to come back to US. Her first nane was Elena then said it was her nickname, her real name was Alina. Same address was used. When I said no money would be sent no more E-mails sent back

Same story as previous, except that the name given was "Elena Popel" and an email address of elena_p@kenshtain.net. This person invests a lot of time in making a convincing and intricate story complete with photos and history. As soon as I got the emails requesting money I dropped the thread immediately. There was no more contact after that. Beware of this person, whoever he/she may be.

Comment from David (cygnus2451-horizon@yahoo.com)

Anna (aka Nadezda) Korotaeva started off by contacting me through my Yahoo Personals ad. I corresponded with this person for several weeks. She also sent me various photos of herself and a bogus phone number in New York (212-461-1813) so to play herself off as legitimate. I called this phone number many times no one ever answers. Photos 3, 4, and 5 were taken with a high end Nikon D70 DSLR Digital Camera and later modified the photos with Adobe Photo Shop. Anna stated that she was studying New York on a student visa and was doing her course work at an orphans home in New York. When I emailed her, her responses were not consistent with what I wrote. Soon after, it was clear to me that she was probably communicating with several pen-pals at the same time and lost track on what she said to whom. After several weeks, Anna stated she had to go back to Russia to turn in her term paper. After a day or so she emailed me a long sob-story where she claimed that she needed me to forward $300.00-$400.00 USD so that she can pay for her US visa and return so that we could be together. (Russian address where she wants you to mail the money) Korotaeva Anna Sovetskaya st., 125 - 38 Bugulma Russia 423200 The final email was very convincing but !!!DO NOT SEND HER ANY MONEY!!! I responded with a very harsh letter telling her that I may be lonely but I'm not foolish to send money to anybody that I did not know. It is apparent that this person responds through on-line personals ads and that the person is paying the subscription fee for access. Remember that some con artists will invest a little money if they believe that they can get a larger dividend in the end. If you need further information about my experience with this person please feel free to contact me at my email address.
