Music is pretty imrpotant to my workflow. A lot of what I do as a designer involves thinking critically about experiences. When music is not present I tend to get tunnel vision. I guess music helps my brain's creativity valve stay open and free. But engagement for me is far more passive. I tend to engage from afar. The newsroom I work in isn't too keen on inter-office music and that' contributes to it.I've also used pretty much all the major music streaming apps and have found that Rdio is the best fit for me. I can automate my music discovery and spend more time listening to new stuff and less time making playlists of stuff that I already know I enjoy. Ben Edwards' heavy rotation contains some weird shit in there sometimes. But I love it because it expands my musical horizons as does your heavy rotation, Dane.P.S, Thanks for the recent follow on Rdio. :)
