I do have to feel somewhat sorry for the Gentlemen that are so seemingly empty inside to fall for this crap. I used Mate1 and it is full of the same "copy & paste" profiles that have different names to them. I ask them straight out to send me a pic of them holding a sign saying "Hi Jon" and it never happens.
Men should wise up to this and kudos to the guy below, that reported this. These kind of ppl do not even need a real job if they are going to scam ppl over. They should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Another scam that is going on right now comes out of Africa. I watched a show on some "Date Line" series that went under cover and lured them in and exposed them on national television. Dammed if I didn't start receiving some emails from these types of scams less than 24 hours after I seen this show. Their Story Line is that they have dead relatives, etc that have $$millions locked away and want you to help reap the rewards by paying them $$1000's for fony documents that will entitle you to a share of the pie. I was sending them an email telling them what I thought of them and before I sent it, realized it was my Main email addy, so I deleted my letter and forgot about it. My email could of given more vital info about me, that's why I canned it.
SO BEWARE OUT THERE....TWO THINGS WE ARE TAUGTH IN LIFE....IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS AND GO WITH YOUR FIRST GUT INSTICT, IT IS USUALLY CORRECT.

Ioana Nechit is very good at what she does. She lies all the time, but seems very sincere. Beware of her gentleman! I have a very long story to tell you: Ioana Nechit's new email address is: butterflyego@yahoo.com. During our initial conversation on Yahoo Mesenger, Ioana told me that she grew up in Poplaca, Romania, a little village where there were a few animals. Ioana told me that she was raised with good values. Her father and mother were very faithful to each other. Her father died in a major automobile accident at the age of 44. Her mother, who is now 65 years of age, has severe diabetes. Ioana Nechit stated to me that she has had three sexual relationships: The first when she was 18-22 years old; the second when she was 24-29 years old; and the third occurred recently. Ms. Nechit also stated that the man in her most recent relationship beat her often. She has stated to me that she is cautious about participating in a new relationship until she can be certain that her prospective man will not be physically abusive to her. Ioana Nechit reported her address to me to be: Cluj-Napoca, Strada Vlaicu, Nr. 3. Romania, 400600. This address is incomplete. I know this to be true because I attempted to send her flowers, and the florist that I ordered the flowers from sent me a message stating: "...order could not be sent, incomplete address. Please send phone number...". When I confronted Ioana about this on Yahoo Messenger, she stated that she had to take her phone to the pawn shop--she does not have a phone. She also told me that the address that she gave me is "...100% correct...". From my own research, I have found other addresses for Ioana Nechit: Alleea Ghibu Onisifor, Nr. 48, Sector 3, Bucuresti, Romania, Telephone/telefon 0216396463. Another address that I was able to obtain from my research is: Str. Salcamilor,Nr.11, Jiboue Salaj, Romania, telephone/telephon, 02060641084. Netlog.com lists Ioana Nechit as 36 years old, (she told me that she was 30 years old) Date of birth: 03/06/1977. Location: Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Netlog.com also shows that Ioana Nechit works for ING and lists her profession as a Vanzator. Ioana told me that she is a Travel Agent, and that she has not worked for 2 weeks, because her company's office is undergoing renovation. During my very comprehensive research on her, I found her to be on Facebook as well. On Facebook, Ioana Nechit's name appears, but her picture is much, much different from the one that you see on this site. It lists her age as 35, and that she is a photographer. Ioana told me that she is a photographer as well as a Travel Agent. Regarding pictures of her, Ioana Nechit sent me 7 pictures of herself. I have been notified my management of this site that they will post her pictures after I send them here. When you see them, please pay particular attention to the gentlemen in the background of the picture listed on the front of this site (Ioana in a yellow top) and compare it to my picture of Ioana looking at you in a mall. The men in the background of the mall picture are the same men as are in the background of Ioana in a yellow top. This is what first tipped me off to the fact that I was being scammed. Also, the woman in my pictures is close, but not an exact match, to the woman in the site's picture which shows Ioana in a yellow top. Clearly to me they are different woman. The picture on Facebook is totally a different woman--not even close in resemblance! Ioana Nechit told me that because she had not worked in 2 weeks, that she would not be able to pay her rent on time. She acted very worried about this. She made me feel very sorry for her. Later, after creating conversation for several days on Yahoo Messenger, we agreed that she would travel to Bucharest, Romania to obtain a visa so that she could travel to my home to be with me. I completely fell for her charm. Ioana Nechit told me that she was going to take a train to Bucharest and would contact me when she arrived. She did. I then sent her the money via Western Union, which she then notified me of receiving in Bucharest. Boy did I fall for this scam, gentleman, because upon completing further research, I discovered that Ioana Nechit did not go to Bucharest at all, in fact, she did not leave Cluj-Napoca. Ioana received her funds from a Western Union Office located in Cluj-Napoca. She lied to me the whole time! I have filed reports on Ioana Nechit with the following companies and agencies: The Internet Crime Complaint Center. This agency has assured me that they will file International Internet Fraud charges against her; Western Union Fraud Report Money Control Consumer Protection Department, which has assured me that the next time Ioana Nechit attempts to receive funds from them, that she will be arrested and charged with Fraud; the U.S. State Department, who told me that they would, "...look into the matter..."; and OKCupid, the on-line dating site where I made initial contact with her, who have since dropped her profile from their site after several other men besides myself reported her to them. Look out gentlemen! I suspect Ioana Nechit will change her name and create a totally new identity for herself as a result of the charges that she now has pending against her as a result of the reports that I have filed with the proper authorities.

Romania being part of European Union , if she is REAL , really looking for someone and that good looking = NO NEED TO GO TO USA (or any others) she can take a bus to Germany , Austria , Swiss (Part of Schengen agreement) France , Luxembourg , etc ... where she would have NO problems to pick any bachelor ! but this implicate : to be genuine ... to be genuinely looking for a partner ... to be really her as for her look ... TOO MANY things sounds fishy in this ! ;-))
