Tom, - someone a long time ago told me some wise words>> "When you volunteer, do NOT expect any 'kudos'. IF you are going to do a particular task, -just do it because of your own personal motivations." So, whereas you are no doubt doing a great job of catching scammers in the 'dust bowl', I really would not expect congrats. That way, if you get any occasional congrats, then they will come as a bonus. I speak as someone who DID volunteer my services for free in the past. Experience?--most people just want to take, few even want to say thanks for your efforts. But that said--KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK FRIEND!-p.s. I'm 25% Irish and 25% Scotts myself!

Not a coincidence at all Big One. I'm done! Here is the reality of the situation when it comes to scamming. If a 50 Y.O. azzwipe is feeling a false sense of egotism and thinks some hot looking 20 Y.O. wants to bang his life senseless, then he is a knucklehead and the scammer is a genious. And I am only talking about the Russian scams. Anyone who falls for one of the African scams is just f'n brain dead. Sorry man - I am disgusted with them all.

Tom - I take absolute offense at your comment. Your up-to-date progess on the African scammers is appreciated, although I am still somewhat skeptical. But I am a New Yorker and a jaded s.o.b., so don't take that personally. But don't you dare come here and lecture Americans on what or how they should feel about anything. The fact is that Roamer is now out of the game, Wayne got sick, John42 and Forrest have their own sh*t to take care of and I bloody don't care anymore. Take a good luck at the profiles here from start to finish. Take a damn hard look at the name that pops up the most from 2005 - 2008. And what did it get me? Nada - same shit happening everyday and nothing stopping it. The scammers aren't the problem - it's the f'king idiots that fall for it. I don't know why this continues. I figure it boils down to one of the following: Greed, low self-esteem or a brain defect. It just doesn't matter anymore. I'm done here - you want to lead the fight, go ahead. But do it with class.

Tom - I think you are misplacing your anger. Don't lump us all in with the others. Yes, it's sad to see fellow Americans get taken by these scammers. I can understand how someone could easily fall in love with the hope that some pretty young thing out there is really interested in them. The first time they get scammed is a lesson. The second time they get scammed is a study in stupidity. But when it comes to these people who lose tens of thousands of dollars in some get rich quick scheme....well, I think most of us just think "you had it coming to you." Their own greed is more blinding than the brightest light. That's one of the reasons why it is so easy to play the game with these scammers. They are also greedy and can't see clearly that they are being jerked around.

Kitzell, many thanks but now you feel my flustration.When i joined this site well over a year ago,the interaction between members and interest shown by members, was brilliant,but now it is sadily lacking.I am in daily communication with the "hoover crew" and the damage that has been inflicted has been absolutely remarkable.The operation (at the moment) is huge.As you know i send you copies of everything,just for your information,but any of the other events that i encounter,and there were many, i no longer place here, because no-one is interested.What make up a site like this is the members and the interest shown by the members,and when all that disappears,as it has,then w.a has no option but to close the site down.I will continue to do what i am doing with your support and with big one, but should i let this die out,the only people who will show signs of relief are the scammers .That sweathole is jammed to the rafters with scumbags,who thought that they were invincible,until that pesky little milkman knocked on their mud cabin at 6am in the morning. lol

i think a big problem here Tom is a lot o ppl r gettin dissilusioned. not by the number of scumbad jungle bunny scammers there are out there, or by the number reduced by ur efforts m8, but by the number of ppl who read these reports, the ones in the press and still ignore the facts and advice. i have to admit that sometimes i get pissed off with them myself, they read the indo, read the advice but not many actually follow it cos they think it won't happen to them. so the other reg's here are just so damn sick of the idiots sendin money to a pretty picture or a faked up gold cert they just don't comment. they way i see it is that they see a gold cert, read a cheap price for gold and see $ signs in front of their eyes cos they think they gonnae make a big profit, greed does strange things to a persons common sense and intelligence. with the datin scams, they see a honey who claims to wanna live wi them and they think they got a trophy bride half their age. "look guys, she's 19 and thinks i'm gr8 even tho i'm 50". it's sad really, specially when all the advice is out there along with the scammer info an all types of scam and ppl just don't bother to do any research on them. even if they don't know how, there's alwasy someone who can help them out, a neighbours teenager, who probbly knows more bout web search than most of us 'adults'. i'm not condoning the lack of respect we find around us, i've brought my kids up to show respect, manners, common decency. but with all the info and advice we put out, it sometimes seems that we're wasting our time. the ones who actually follow the advice and read the info, like the ones who saw Forrest's info on that dating site and followed it, they are the ones who learned bfore they were biten. u done good Tom, even if some don't show respect to those who made the mistake and got conned, u still did good. i take my hat off to you my friend, ur doin better in the dustbowl in the past yr than i've done wi the Russians in the past 2.

Folks,I am absolutely absolutely amazed that recently i have placed the details on this site,about the success we had in getting all those scammers, who "robbed " "my" american friends out of "thousands " of $ in gold scams.($80,000.00 approx)Now what was the reaction of our American friends on this site, let me tell you "f***all"If it were "IRISH" i would have stayed up all night fighting for them(thats what you would call being "loyal"),If it were Scotish", equally as proud because we share the same blood.If it were AUSTRALIAN ditto.But it looks like the American folks here on this site does not "care" a damn about the welfare their own citizens and "shame" on YOU people.Not one of them have asked me,who their citizens were,nor where they were from,or how it affected them,or was it their life savings or what?.Well they dont have to because I being "IRISH" will look after their interest instead( and proud to do so).What some people here seem to do, is to cast their eyes to far away places, like Russia, Nigeria,but not to the u.s.a, and certainly not to the DUSTBOWL", because i have taken care of that,and as people may, or may not have noticed , and obviously not,no -one comes on here now from those places where i operate.Once again, all this is for "my American friend "POWEL" , who died (from a brain tumour),having been scammed out of thousands of $ in those gold scams..At least he went to his maker, knowing that the scammer was caught by an IRISHMAN and locked away for 4 years "with hard labour"(and that scumbag in that sweathole has already been told of his death) .You wont get this situation in "BEAR " country or"Nigeria" but in only the U.S.A where people show their lack of disrespect to their own citizens, you wont find that among the irish, Scotish, nor the Australian people.Folks someone should hang their head in shame on this site.Remember this is an anti-scam site,and no country should be excluded.Regards folks.
