I did all of that last week, sir...My system is so old that only floppy discs can be used and it is running old windows 98.....But, some days aren't as slow as others......It was bad both yesterday and today.....

Roamer,Do you have a lot of data stored on your computer? Why I ask,This will slow down the performance of your computer,plus like you said,your computer needs to be upgraded.You did a defragment which helps a bit.
