She is now going around as Lyudmila Butchnewa sweetcand9y@yahoo.com ...I've gotten e-mails from her the last week - today she asked for money for her 'trip' to the US...what bulls@*t! She e-mailed me through American Singles...as well as about 10 other 'Russian' girls! She also mailed me a pic of her passport, and her flight plans...looked up her 'e-ticket' number and it did not exist. FYI - during the first few emails, I noticed her name changed from Butchewa to Butchnewa (notice the added 'n') to match the last name on the passport pic she mailed...what a scam!

She likes the line: I had a dream I was a fish (hopefully a dolphin not shark). She contacted me from singlesnet.com & is using NewWorld79@yahoo.com (and probably a dozen more) :-)..I'll give her a shark alright!

I don't believe for one instant that you fall in love with a person just writing to them......I feel that you fall for the idea that there is a possibility that the person is just right for you......You tell them that red is your favorite color and that you like dancing and going to the mountains and Oh me you like all of those things too.....We must be made for each other, because I just adore to do those things....The scammer is just repeating what you tell them except they claim that that is their interests also....I do believe in love at first sight, but not from pictures, that's just lust.......You have to meet the person in real life and figure out their idiosyncracies and their motives and their personality etc......People do hide behind their computers!! Let's face it, it is a comfort zone, where we can say freely what we want!!

Sad thing about this is guys or people give money to these people because they fall in love and don't even realize it. I fell in love but I didn't have $980 to give the person lol lol. What goes around comes around. Someone will give this person what's coming to them I assume.

Comment from Geeves

I've never had the privilege of writing to these pictures, but they have been around awhile.Hey,if we stop her then we can likely stop most of the scammers.

Thats true Dameon, but this one is an oldie for sure, and I think that she's trying to impress you by changing her last name again....DEMON OVA should be the proper way to spell her last name... Don't you agree??? Hey if you were Russian and she was your wife your name would be Dameon Demonova...Wow, thats scary to imagine!!!!!! Someting must have happened this weekend with my computer here.....All of my aliases are gone so I have to start all over with my titles...And there's no "e" after the "w".... 6:30 and 68 out and I'm back to wearing shorts to work....
