a lot of these girls photos are used by the russian mafia to run these scams, the girls dont recieve any money, they are ordered to submit their photos to the mafia, i married a ukranian girl 9yrs ago & she told me how it all works, 8 times out of 10 you are not writing to the girl, if you want to be sure ask her to go to the internet cafe & see her on cam.

Ok Anonymous, how much did she scam you for? Hey I am sorry for your loss:(( Why don't you take your next $3000 and take a trip to Russia and meet some real Russian girls. They do love Americans there, but just like the women here its all about the money. The majority of the Russians make less than $150 per month. Those are the ones that actually work. Actually I never said I understood her, she could very well be a man for all I know. My point was you know when a scammer is a scammer its obvious and when You are making it so easy for them to take your $$$ hey, this girls making an awesome living off of you and your buddies, her pictures are all over, but it is probably some other ass hole that is screwing you, not the girl in the picture. Good luck to you, remember they play on your weakness.

It goes to explain why and how we now view Russian girls on the net as sick parasites.I will also add that even their agencies play a major roll in this filthy buisnes.I invite every living human being in this world to stop communicating with these psychopathy, eventually their buisensses will go do dry.Nice Russian woman will come along and the world eill be safe.

If a person lies in a written letter, postal services should refuse to deliver their letters as well? I think it's dealing with the problem on the wrong level.

Yahoo and hotmail (msn) will close down email accounts if given sufficient evidence - ie, an email with full header asking for money. It will only slow the scammer down - but it will throw a monkey wrench into any scam that they are currently running or attempting to run. If the scammer has a record of the emails of current mark, each mark will receive a message that states 'that email address does not work for some reason, write to me here......' or something similar. This should throw up a flag, hopefully, for the current marks.

Comment from Arie.

I just think such warning will help little, and our life is already filled with warnings (whether it's on cigarettes, or on a plastic bag to protect little children). If somebody writes you, it's not necessarily the truth. I hope the Class Monitor will pardon a Dutchie trying to write English :)

Well, Mike, I guess it would be fair to ask who's never been hurt in love. Guys can be players as well, abusing girls for sex, and often women are attracted to "bad boys". Concerning the hormones, we're not 18 anymore. I realize female beauty can be addicting, but if a woman seems to be good to be true, she usually is :)

Comment from Class Monitor...turned off.

It's okay Mike, I am not in a picky mood today...no worries,mate!!

Comment from Mike

Before the Class Monitor gets all over my case.....the first line should read, "Yahoo and Hotmail don't..." I obviously had the correct thought in my head but it didn't translate to print. Yeah, that's it!

Comment from Mike

Yahoo and Hotmail doesn't need to send out warnings about every scammer. They just need to post words of warning about scams in general. The male hormone can cause blindness. Women know this, as do these scammers (who are probably males.) The male hormone also causes the brain to become disengaged. You've never fallen for a gal, only to discover that you weren't seeing or thinking clearly? I want a show of hands....all you guys out there who have never been led blindly into a romance, please raise your hands.

Mike, I started visiting this website even without being ever scammed in my life :) I think it should be common knowledge: if an unknown guy on the street asks you to deliver a package to this-and-this address, would anybody do this? So if an unknown girl asks you to send money, our hesitance should be the same. Yahoo or Hotmail are not equipped and not the right party to send us warnings for every Russian scammer/stock scam/Nigerian money-scammers/...

Comment from Mike

Arie - that's the message that needs to get across thru the e-mail websites. You, I and all the others who post things here are aware of that one truth. But how do you get the word out to the first time internet dater? This person walks into these traps fat, dumb and happy. It's not until he gets scammed that he starts visiting places like these. The word has to get out before he corresponds with any potential scammer, and that word will best be delivered by the e-mail providers. They have the capability to send notices to all their customers.

Comment from Arie

Mike, why involve Yahoo or Hotmail? The solution is so simple, and spelled out 20,000 times before over here: NEVER send money, not a penny, not if her life depended on it. If you wanna mix love and money - it's best to find a local prostitute.

Comment from Steve Jacobs

No Capt. Kirk - it doesn't even work that way. Live with her 2-3 months in her home town. See if you can get along with her there. If you can't get along with her there then how in the world are you going to get along with her in America. Any normal Russian girl is not going to jump on a plane and go to another country to meet a man she's never met. You could be an axe murderer. Anyway people like John are doing a good service because they send their money to Russia and this helps support the Russian economy even if it's sent to criminals. Keep up the good work John and those like you.

Comment from Capt. Kirk

I agree with Steve ! Go to their country and make a complete test there. If you are still interested after it, invite her to your home, thats the way it works !

Comment from Steve Jacobs

What I don't get is John and others like him send money and think that she'll magically appear in his hometown airport. It doesn't work that way. First of all his country will not likely issue her a visa. Secondly you've got to go to her country and meet her first. I am so sick of these men thinking they can order a mail order bride like you order a pizza. It doesn't work that way. Get off your lazy butts and meet these women in person. Serves you right John.

SITES! Not sires. I know we all think of ourselves as middle-aged studs. Told you I was having an eye issue. :)

Comment from Mike

Maybe it's time to start pestering the common e-mail carriers...Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL, etc...to make it one of their missions to post warnings about scammers, and to reference sires like this one. They could do it with mass mailings to all their customers. Once word gets out, maybe the other e-mail sites will follow.

Comment from freddyboy

My God two scam stories almose identical. But it is the same old story. Middle aged men actually thinking and hoping these young Russian beauties have actually fallen for them. But instead of checking a little deeper or even checking these scam sights they choose to send money in the hopes that all these words are real. What amazes me is how fast they find these scam sites AFTER they have lost their money. We keep trying to get the message out 'DO NOT SEND MONEY' but it seems the scammers are still winning.
