# Details: Corresponded with this lady over a number of months and finally went to meet her in her city of Zaporizhye.rnWas met at the airport in a taxi and things quickly started to go wrong and I began to get a bad feeling as she became very defensive when I asked for her surname which she tried to tell me that she had already written in a letter to me. The airport I arrived at was about 50 miles from her city. But I was really quite surprised at the cost. But being tired after a long journey I did not contest it. rnThen for the next 3 days was driven around in this very same taxi to restaurants where simple meals were mysteriously very expensive.rnAlways accompanied by her "sister" or cousin or her father insisted acted as a chaperone.rnThe taxi rides also became very expensive and when I questioned this she said she had requested a special driver as she had an important guest.rnShe arranged my accommodation and this also turned out to be very expensive and I tend to think there was some kind of accommodation scam going on.rnAs the hotel would not take my credit card when I arrived I paid just for the first couple of nights. Later she asked me for the remaining balance telling me that she had paid for it on my behalf. I was then challenged by the hotel for the money again telling me that my bill had not been paid. I threatened to call the police and suddenly the matter was dropped and strangely everything was quickly resolved.rnMy trip was arranged for 10 days. After the third day when I challenged her about the "expensive taxi", the expensive hotel and the very expensive meals she suddenly became ill and was supposedly admitted to hospital. I did not see her again and unable to get a flight home spent the remainder of the time alone.
