# Scam scenarios:   ask for money

# Details: Made a profile on plentyoffish.com, got sent yahoo messenger id and used that to chat. Said shes got a job selling businesses to other businesses and is in Moscow doing work. Said she got paid but cheque was crossed, lost credit card and could not pay the hotel. Asked for my help to lend money and then be paid back (yeah right).

Did not use too much affection in chatting, seems they are now not trying to look over affectionate with their dealings.

She said she was coming back to NZ in a few days time and was paid $65,000 commission from selling a company to another.

This is obviously a ploy to make the person being scammed think they are going to get their money back.

I didnt ask how much, just told the scammer 'no' and the scammer stopped communicating.
