# Details: Falling impossibly quickly in love, and desperate to "arrive with me", she would pay her own way, but then "discovered" she needed $400 for a visa. This took only a week to get to this stage and I smelt a rat, so I called a spade a spade, and I received an angry reply that she was insulted, and it was a great pity to end like this, that she was real, and LOVED me. I backed down, I was succumbing to the effect of the photos, and began talking with possibly someone else, who after 3 days of avoiding my questions, but talking more directly, asked me again about the money. I was inclined to send a small amount as a gesture, since her birthday was approaching. Luckily I checked on another scam website and found one of the pictures I had received, with two different names, so that confirmed what I should have known all along. It was just all too good to be true. rn
