I was wise enough not to send this person money but offered to come get her? in Russia & pay to bring her back to the U.S. for a visit. She wasn't interested in this, only in my sending her money to buy a ticket to come visit me in the U.S.

Details: after a couple of weeks she claimed to have met an old friend on the train who worked in the visa office. she wanted to come right away and needed money for visa and airfare. she was not having any part of me coming to russia to meet her friends and family. she ignored any and all request for personal info.
