Thank you Jay for writing your wofurendl tribute to Bryan Newstrom. My name is Jerry Baehm, father of Alan Baehm who played sports with you and Bryan while living in Tulsa. My oldest son Jeff informed me of the article you wrote about youself and the tribute to Bryan. We lived in the same neighborhood right around the corner from the Newstrom family. Bryan and Alan were real close friends until we moved from Tulsa to Portland, Or. in the year of 1976. In fact my family was close friends with all members of the Newstrom family.Mr. Newstrom and myself coached the baseball and basketball teams at Waite Phillips. You, Bryan and Alan were on these teams. All three of you were very good athletes. You all excelled in baseball, basketball and football.I often think about when we played a 6th grade basketball game against Grissom. Bryan was the center on the Phillips team. Grisson had a player who was tall and Bryan had to guad him. Bryan got into foul trouble early during the game. Instead of taking him out of the game, I left him in, My Mistake he fould out with a lot of time remaining. You can say the coach lost the game because of my decision to leave Bryan in.We have kept in contact with Mark Browns parents since we left Tulsa. In fact we went to visit them in October 2010. It was only the second time my wife had been back to Tulsa. The Browns informed us about Bryan. Like everyone else we had a hard time with the bad news. It is always difficult to experence a death of someone close to you and in Bryans case so young.I was envolved with the same type of vehicle accident that Bryan was in. I was 16 years old at the time. Four of my friends were in a vehicle. We just left a restaurent at night and about five blocks on the road we were on there was a curve in the road. The driver was trying to adjust the radio and missed the curve. We ended up hitting a telephone pole. I also was sitting in the front passenger seat of the car. My head went through the windshield of the car. Ended up having a concussions and over 400 stitches in my forehead. No one else was hurt in the vehicle. I was very lucky.Jay, you were a good pitcher and threw the baseball hard. You had good control and knew how to pitch. I thought you would be a good pitcher and high school and even in college. Thanks again for your tribute to Bryan, he was a very special friend. We will remember him forever.Jerry Baehm

If you are an accomplished tyispt - word processor and have recently visited your local city college or university librarian, you can apply as a certified graduate tyispt, earning between $1.50 to $2.00 per page for a master or doctoral thesis. The librarian will provide you with a sample of the typing template (i.e., margin settings, font selection, page set up, etc.) in order to complete these projects. An average weekend income is about $300-$400 for two days work.Good luck!
