Comment from Anon of Holland

Olesya (Ollie to her friends) contacted me at the beginning of august) with the same sample letters that can be found on the net. The approach is exactly the same as others have found out. I am going for the 15 pictures (she is easy on the eyes) and then hit her for a loan. I am currently negotiating with banks for a mortgage so need some extra cash. I reckon if I keep her busy she has less time to hit on someone else. I looked up the IP address 213.180.200.18 and it turned out to be a server in Amsterdam, Holland!

She contacted me in May, told me she would meet me in Europe in June but didn't show up. I sent her almost $3000 before I realized she was a fraud. Stay away from this devil.

This is the first that I discoverd she was a scammer. She seems sweet but at times I was wondering if she was actualy reading my emails. Same story as all of you. So far I have recieved 15 pics from her.

Interestingly enough she began a coorespondance with me in May. After the second or third letter it was apparent that a scam was ensueing, however I played along. When she(he) got to the letter about "hearing my fine mans voice." I answered with a cell phone number. On doing a trace on the called id, I discovered she (or at least the woman that called)was actually from the scammer hot bed of Russia; the Yoshkar-Ola / Kazan area which is much nearer to Moscow. I'm guessing the letter writer may very well be someone named Fat Yuri, or maybe Boris.

She sent me an eamil through Yhaoo Personal without any profile attached to it with the following yahoo I.D.; COZULYA486, from the cith of Orenburg. She asked me not to respond through Yahoo personal rather use the following email: aktanaeva@yandex.ru the rest of the story is more or less the same as the other comments on this page. Guys don't be so naive. If you must marry from a foriegn country, do your homework first before falling for obvious scams like this. Try using the Internet againt these scam artists.

I got this on Yahoo Personals today (condensed): ---- On 08/04/2005 07:55 pm EDT, "shvabramusa" wrote: Hi! I liked yours profile and I would like to start to correspond with you. My name is Olesya; My age 33 years; I was born and live in Russia, the city of Orenburg of the Orenburg area; I have no children; In the following letter, I shall necessarily send you the photo and I shall write more in detail about myself and the life. I shall wait your letter on mine eMail: olaktanaeva@yandex.ru [no profile attached] ---- and amazingly, google "olesya orenburg" took me here to anti-scam.org! This is the only communication between us, so far. I'm going to email her a picture of herself and ask her for $350 to help me get to Orenburg :-)

Comment from Rick Seens

She contacted me initially saying she liked my unique profile. The profile for her on yahaa personals didn't exist when i clicked on it, she asked me to write her in the body of her note to her russian email address. By letter 9 she asked me to pay for her visa, lodging, and travel to Moscow from Orenburg, about $350.00 US. If I had sent that I think she was then going to raise the amount for flight, and passport. Hook me for a little then hook me for alot more. I didn't send any money to her since it's a cardinal rule on the internet.

Same type of deal, she did not get around to asking for money.. As I found her out first. She has not responded to any more emails from me. I have been sending large attachments with each as i believe they have to pay by the kilobyte. other email address that may be in use: olesya-20051@yandex.ru olesechka72@mail.ru ServantofGod373@yahoo.com there may be others. Her messages are coming from a private IP, claims to be emailing from work as follows; IP 213.180.200.18 from [195.69.160.6] ([195.69.160.6]:41989 "EHLO [10.0.0.34]" smtp-auth: "Olesya-20051" TLS-CIPHER: TLS-PEER-CN1: ) by mail.yandex.ru with ESMTP id S3376497AbVGNLlO
