The topic is about balancing bndraing and retail, dealers in an environment where people search the internet for car specs. Here's the difference between the A'dam Brand Store and the stores in a.o. Berlin and Paris. The one in A'dam is much more in the city centre. They aim certainly also at tourists (multi language personnel), a broad audience. At MINI they have noticed that a lot of people do not feel comfortable planning a visit to a car dealer. And if they do they don't like to be chased. An eye catching cool store at an unexpected great location should make them curious to walk inside and experience the MINI lifestyle. Also, the store does not offer test drives, a service they do offer in Berlin and Paris. They sell some merchandise whereas other flagship stores do sell their core products. Finally Carl, don't forget you do not represent the average, haha.
