Hi Dameon, i have never gone to any of those places.Now as for russia i would not even bother, because of all the Ivans who have made contact with me (and there were hundreds), evey one off them were scammers.I had less from Romania but it was the same thing.Now Ghana is my speciality,whereby i work with "friends"? and the hoover people,and i have done so much damage, but although i got the invitation to go i have never been there.A few months ago i was asked if i would go over by some "dude" i said "no", and the reply i got was"good job because you would get a bullet in the head".so i would rather be a live coward than a dead hero?? I have been told by the hoover crew that if go(not to tell anyone) i would be picked up at the airport by them, but the interest is slowly ebbing from me.But like you i am also getting tired of all this.No matter how many are locked up, (its like the drug business), there is always someone else to take their place.It is an ever ending battle and sorry to say the scammers keep winning, as we can see by the daily profiles being put here day after day.I just hate to see people being scammed , but what more can you or i do here ??Best regards

Tom - my Papa always told me - "Dameon; you just can't fix stupid!" What is really sad is that a vacation to East Europe really isn't all that expensive. Having many firends from Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania and Belarus, I have had a chance to vacation in all these countries except Russia. Vacations there are moderately priced and I guarantee a great time for all. As for the knuckleheads that fall for the African scams, well they should just kill themselves. There are no hot young white chicks in Nigeria, Senegal, Niger, & Ghana who are looking to fall in love with some American or European in 2 e-mails time. And if someone thinks there are, then let's hope they are incapable of ever breeding. (I can hear the dualing banjos in the distance now).

Hi Dameon,and i totally agree with everything you say.If only people would read your comments and go by them then it would be all worthwhile.But alas as you have correctly pointed out,by that stage it has become too late for some.All one can do here is try to educate all those pot bellied guys to stop sending money to some pic,and yes you are right that most dating sites should have neon lights flashing on them warning about scammers so that people will take note.Finally, some time ago i spoke to a private investigation company on the net,who will investigate people for anyone to see if they were genuine or not.He told me that the extimated figure that is scammed wordwide across the net was over $ one billion a year.If that is correct we are not even scratching the surface by what we do here.Kind regards

Tom - the problem is that for all the years I used to stop by, I only encountered maybe a half dozen guys who found this site before they were scammed. Usually guys who are in the middle of an e-mail affair don't find this site until his account is minus several thousand $. Obviously it is too late by then. The truth is that the scammers themselves are only part of the problem. Most dating sites where contact is initially made has minimal, if any warnings about these potential scams. The home page of all these sites should have a big warning on their home page. Secondly, until middle-aged men can learn to stop tripping over their own false egos and see the writing on the paper, they will continue to fall for a pretty picture and words from that pretty picture which they have only dreamt about. For me, I got tired about reading all the sad pathetic stories of lost $. Until items one ad two are resolved, these scammers will keep coming back for more. Just think, we are into the second decade of the 21st Century and people are still falling for the Nigerian 419 scam. How sad is that.
