Tom, a lesson for all men is that if they 'think with their big head instead of their little head', they will often detect the signs of a scammer at work...sooner rather than later.>> Latest examples from 'my favourite scammers' (NOT!!) 'Brides Agency' and their false email letters from false 'ladies'... Out of just 2 emails 'apparently received from their female members'(To try and entice me to re-join)... 1) From a lady who is keen to have my babies...BUT she states in her profile "Do not write to me if you are aged over 43"...Er DA!! I am aged over 43, so why would the 'real lady' write to me?!!...2) another email from a lady whom I //we agreed that we were not suited(when I was a paying member last year, we were in correspondence-I told her I was not rich!!)..so why would that real lady write to me again via the agency when she has my personal email?!...So AVOID Brides Agency--it is run by a bunch of thieving scammers!!!

Forrest, that nigerian doughnut's profile has now been cancelled with Tagged, so no-one else can make contact with him .He has been back twice today to me,but he is gonna be as thin as a flagpole by the time in finished with him."She" asked me what my favourate food was ,and i told him, lobster, king crab, sirloin steaks(cooked rare),duck ,pheasant covered with caviar, followed with red wine and a host load of other mouth watering stuff.Do you know i could swear i could hear his tongue licking the saliva running from his lips as he seens his grubby little fingers inches away from that 900.00 euros . Jeepers all that has made me hungry now folks.

Comment from Tom

Hi forrest, i will do that. That nigerian guy has been back again only one hour ago.I told him i was busy just now, but soon i am going to send him again on that 100 mile journey for his elusive 900 euros for the 5 th time. That guy must be the biggest doughnut of them all.

Comment from Forrest

Tom - I made up a receipt some years back and I think I still have it. Write me at my alias, troniks2003@yahoo.com and I will send it along to you. As for the Russian gal......if she contacts you again she will probably wait until the very last minute to hit you up for money. She will likely send you a desperate plea from the airport stating she is a few dollars short.

Comment from Roamer

Tom, if I remember correctly, Forrest may have a copy of a receipt from Western Union....See if he has it and copy it and send it to the scammer telling them that it's proof that they got your money......

pp, that nigerian guy was back on to me yesterday, wondering when that bent ariel on our great big gigantic mountain will be repaired here, so i told him midweek?? I am now getting ready to run him for the 5 th time 100 miles for that elusive 900 euros. To use yr idea,i can tell him that it was collected by some person called "RAVIN RILLY" and you are right, it will make his head explode(because they are her pics he is using).would you like to f**K him up also, if so can you get the good folk to send me yr addy so that i can send you the details, but because he is so eager chasing after that money, he has no interst in anyone else for now. P.S I have not heard any back yet from that Russian lady. Thanks pp.

Comment from ppp

p.s. Tom, re your 'man in Africa-chasing his pot of gold at end of rainbow'.. He will no doubt protest that it was NOT he/she who collected the money from W.U....So let him stew a few days... then reply saying..."I am very confused, I wrote to the W.U. branch. I have now had a reply from the W.U. branch in ------. They detail that the money was collected by a pretty lady (then give the PRECISE description of the 'false profile' that he sent to you-name and all!!!).. If THAT does not make his head explode--well?!!... The only downside of this, is that you will not be able to actually see his face when he reads your emails!!!

Comment from ppp

Tom, you know what they say--"If it walks like a dog, barks, and smells like a dog... then it is a dog!">> By the way, re 'your man who is chasing around Africa,-trying to get his W.U. fake money',...a couple of suggestions..1) tell him, 'apologies for the typo, but it was meant to be ....(A town with a similar name)' 2) To REALLY wind him up, write and say "W.U. has sent me the receipt saying that you finally collected your money. Best of luck, and let me know how you get on." ... That should just about make him have a heart attack-the thought that HE has been conned out of HIS money!!>>> By the way don't know if you are following the World Cup/ Next week Nigeria is playing their first match.... You can imagine seeing--that if they are losing by half time,... that the ball may well 'go missing'?!! lol

pp, im trying to work out in my head, why she is so eager to come here to meet me.She does not know me, never saw me,has not asked for money, yet she is willing to come to a strange country to meet me ??and i only know her 3 weeks approx.if it were a promise to marry her id understand ,but she is one pushy woman. The biggest problem she faces is getting an Irish visa to come here, and she cannot get that without my help .Or mayby she is desperate????(like me lol) We wait and see.Regards

Forrest, many thanks because im still in the learning mode here.I will also try that too. Thanks for the shoulder folks, and we see what happens .Regards

Comment from Forrest

Tom - The pic of her holding a plaque with your name on it was probably digitally altered. A more realistic pic would be to have her take one holding something you requested, something without your name. Maybe a stuffed toy in one hand and a coffee mug or book in the other.

Comment from Tom

pp,thank you for that .but this woman is really too pushy about meeting me.i have started to use your advise and asked her to ring me, but she said she has no mobile phone and can only use a coinbox there.I have just received an e-mail from her, telling me blaw blaw, but that she really is looking forward to meeting me in "Canada".? and as you know im no-where near that. That person has never ever seen my photo, and i could be some axe murderer, yet she is dying to meet me?.All this does not add up,so lets see what happens .Thanks pp

Tom, since you ask, this is what I would/actually do: email her and say that you would like to talk, hear her voice etc. She may agree, or may make an excuse that she speaks poor English. Get a 'cheap rate international number'(look up on Google-pay by the minute-6/10 pence etc). BUT, when you phone her, with-hold Your number(141 in UK) Then you can ask her some questions and try to determine if she is genuine. ....Also, ask her for her actual address. Say you want to send her a present. It can be flowers, or a small gift, which she will receive after 10-18 days. Don't tell her what you are sending, she should receive it and say thanks for the ...... I sent recently some 'Basic English learning books' to a Russian lady. She replied saying cryptically-"Thanks, but what age in UK are they aimed at?" (aged 7/8!!)>> Also make a note of ALL her supplied info, parents, siblings, qualifications, DOB etc. Worth checking later to see if she 'remembers' the DOB etc she supplied!....Hope that helps?

Comment from ppantherp

You got that right James. Brides Agency is just one of many who try to 'lure' men to pay to join by sending them 'false letters from fictitious ladies'.

i have been talking to a 42 yr old Russian lady for only a short while, and now she wants to come here to visit me.She works as a nurse in some hospital in Kazan, and has even sent me her photo holding up a plaque with my name on it.She has asked me to send her my full name, address and phone number but "HAS NOT" asked me for money towards her journey to me ?My question is, how safe is it for me to send her my details because i only know her a short while. All opinions will be deeply appreciated folks.

"W h ould" be good if we all "write English correctly", wouldn't it ?

Comment from ppantherp

I really think that a lot of these scammers imagine that most people are morons. Latest email from 'a female admirer'-aged 24 to me: "Hi my name Inga, from London. I secretary".........Er DA?!! i think NOT. Who the hell whould employ anyone as a secretary in London who does not speak or write English correctly?!! 'Name & Shame'--another scam attempt initiated by 'Brides Agency'--issuing false emails to tempt to pay to upgrade!!
