Comment from John Huang

I met this girl about 2 years ago.She said she was working for NGO in Comoros, and then she needed to transfer from Comoros to Ghana for work. She told me she was the best worker in NGO and busy for work. But she did try to ask money from me for her living in Ghana. She needed a lot of money from me and it was not very logical,so I didn't send her any.She was really patient and didn't like to give up right away. She kept contact with me for some months and didn't get no money from me,but she made up excuses, like busy for work, not to talk or write to me everyday. Her mails were very usual and not to talk me any details about her work and life in Ghana. So I would get tired of her mails soon and don't trust her.She gave up the relationship with me after knowing me about 6 months for getting no money from me.I'm still curious about her and try to find her again. Now I had known what she is at last. Thanks very much for this website telling me about her.

Another thought---if the majority of these posted photos of scammers-are in fact 'stolen photos of innocent ladies'--then (discounting models and porn stars etc)--Who are these genuine ladies , and WHERE can they be fouind?!!

Hi Roamer. Maybe this helps http://jimslists.com/black.html but doesn't really show the pyramid of inter-related owners. cheers, Wombatito

Years ago, I commented here about all of the different sites here that are all owned by the same entity......I forgot the link that I had originally used as a locator site for these scammers, but it resembled a pyramid scheme.......

Thanks for that info Wombat. I admit that although I have been coming here for 5 years, I had never looked at that link.>> An impressive 93 dating agencies,-that all support 'anti-scam'. But I notice that 5/6 are based in Lugansk-which as we all know is(Was?) the scamming capitol of the World.>> I cannot help but wonder though, how many of those are genuine, and not just paying lip service,-as Brides Agency do.

G'day all. If we have faith in this site, then check their sponsor's list from the right hand column. There is also an "agency check list" spot too. Do you think that that info will help in someway? Hasta la vista, Wombatito

pp, and thats a good idea too, because its so hard to know what sites are really legitimate these days. Our friend "BILKO" who really chased everything for me, got his promotion to the top of the ladder ,but obviously the pressure of the job was too much for him.Already another of his working colleagues has been asking questions as to where he got all his information to nail so many scumbags,so lets see what comes from that.?

Tom, having started this 'internet dating' lark way back in 1998, I have to say that it might be a lot easier if someone could publish a 'who's who of Legitimate dating sites'. I imagine that the list might be Very Small though?!--Sorry to read that your Nigerian opo has 'gone South'

pp, and the other two sites which i have found out about are mydailyflog and gofreedate, both of them are just full of nigerian bow and arrow mud hut dwellers. The owners of those 2 sites must know whats going on, unless they too are like that bride agency site .?

Forrest, good on you M8, best of luck with that. We are both 'singing from the same hymn sheet'. Nip it in the bud at source. As you can see from many of my previous posts here, I totally agree that an effort should be made to warn people BEFORE they ever get to this site.>> However, not to try and rain on your parade, but, a lot of these dating sites are (unfortunately) run by scammers and as scams! One case in point is Brides Agency(which I posted details about their scam in January)-where they lure people to join by sending out false//bogus emails. They have a HUGE number of 'false profiles' on their site, + many scammers. AND even when a membership is canceled they still take monies out of the account.>> But keep up the good work anyway!

I have been trying to get others to post similar profiles on dating sites. I think the best route to success is to be proactive and educate people about these scams. What we are doing by posting scammers works ONLY when someone decides to do a Google search on a person. What I eventually hope to do is to see if I can get some of these dating sites to post my warning profile in such a way that it will appear when people do a search for a mate. Make it so my warning profile will always appear in any search someone does. I haven't contacted any dating sites yet to see if that is possible, but just think of the ramifications if people are suddenly made aware of these scams.

Hi Forrest, if people follow your advice given here they cant go wrong and thats why you have been getting a good response to it.I might do the same as you now, because sadily my operations in the dustbowl have now ceased, because the top man in the whole operation took a stroke and died, leaving a wife and 2 young kids behind. It was so good while it lasted but i still have some contacts there.Regards

I have a female friend who fell for that check scam despite my warnings. She was unemployed at the time and saw a way to earn a quick $200. The bank even said the checks were good at the time she cashed them. Then a few days later she gets a call from the bank and the police. If she had listened to me in the first place she would not have been taken for a ride. She listens to me now, though. :)

Forrest, you are absolutely correct, and because that guy cashed that dud cheque, he served some time for it before he was released, but he was so badly badly stung in everyway possible because of it.

It is incredible the response I have been getting from people to my warning profile on the Date In Asia site, Tom. Most women are unaware of such scams and have send me many hundreds of thank yous. Some have even told me that I saved them a lot of money because after reading my warnings they realized the person they were communicating with was a scammer. As for the guy who cashed a $300,000 stolen check....I don't feel at all sorry for him. Blind greed deserves to be punished in that fashion. Usually when the banks catch up to a bad check like that, the person cashing it is on the hook for the full amount.

The photos of "RAVIN RILLY" are now appearing on Tagged site under the name of"ASHLEY LYNCH".Keep clear of it folks.

Hi Forrest, and that is an excellent idea you have, and i only hope that your points in question will be noted and taken down by all those who see it.A few months ago ,some guy made contact with me from the usa,who fell for a scam by cashing a "stolen" cheque he rceived from the dustbowl. The cheque was (if i can remember) for $300,000.00 in which he was to keep 20% for himself and send the 80% balance back to the scammers (it also involved the purchasing of gold).Of course the cheque had been stolen and it was not long afterwards till the cops came to his house and arrested him and he had so much trouble trying to clear his name over there, and this is exactly the type of scam that you are exposing on your piece here. But the good and bad news for the guy who was scammed, was that the scammers were located, and they got 4 years for their troubles. the bad news was that all the money was spent(oh i almost forgot, do you know who's photos they used in their scam, the one and only "RAVIN RILLY").Forrest, if you wish i can e-mail you my file on this case, should it be of assistance to you.If people implement your advice given here then they cant go wrong.Regards

Folks, can anyone tell me please if there is a place called "hurley" in NEW YORK please.??

Comment from Forrest

Tom - that's why we need to do more to educate people about these scams before they get suckered in. I am having great success on one dating site by posting warnings to women on what to look out for. This is what I have posted in my profile: I hunt scammers For all you ladies out there looking for love on this or any other dating site.... Please be very careful about giving personal information to strangers. There are many male profiles posted on dating sites that are totally false. In particular, be VERY careful if a male claims to be from the UK. Nigerian scammers are using pictures of white males and claiming to live in the UK. These low-lifes will try to court you with their charm. If they ask to chat with you on any messenger service but they claim not to have a camera, ignore them. Block them. Have no dealings what so ever with them. Never EVER accept any packages from them, especially if they say they are sending you money orders. One of their tricks is to get you to cash these forged documents, keep a little for yourself for your efforts and then wire the rest to a relative of theirs. By the time the bank catches up with these forged money orders, YOU will be responsible for the full amount. Another scam they are running is one where they tell you they want to purchase some property or a home in your country. They say they will send you a large amount of money if you will give them your bank account number. DO NOT DO THIS! Also do not accept any charges for packages being delivered by a Malaysian company. That is also a scam. Please be very careful. If you have any questions or have been contacted by someone you are suspicious about, drop me a line. And if there's is a little voice inside your head telling you things don't seem right, listen to it. P.S. Please don't ask me for money, OK?

Oh it makes sense all right, because dickheads with money keeps sending money to them, and ghana is not on the north pole, its in the middle of that swelteringly scamming dustbowl, where the only occupation of those scumbags is to go into cafe's and spend all day long in there, trying to scam money from gullible men, by showing pictures of some white woman with big jugs, and they succeed very well. Then some white "arsehole" decides to unzip his brains and send money to that "photo".I am really getting tired of all this repeatable s**t that we are all seening day in and day out on our site.and for the record, when the scammers are caught and locked up,so many scumbags are queuing up to take their place.Take my word on this folks .
