Yep, if it sounds too good to be true, then 99% of the time it probably is, so just keep it in your pants unless she is willing to meet you in person, without you having to send any money to her beforehand. If everyone would adopt that policy, none of us would need to be here. There would still be the gold-diggers, but at least then you have the possibility of getting laid for your troubles if you meet up with her, and you'll knw you're not actually talking "sexy-talk" and pouring your heart out to Boris or Ivan!!!!!

Gentlemen...The odds are that you are not really wasting anyone's time. True, there are times when you are dealing with an individual who treats each scam as a separate entity. But for the most part, we are seeing pre-written letters and it takes a scammer all of 10 seconds to send each e-mail. Plus you add in that most of these scams are being run by small groups and the odds are good that the person who e-mails you today will not be the same person who e-mails you tomorrow. It would be hard to break up the Russian scams. The name they use is probably that of some old lady who they give $50 to so she will collect the money from W.U....Success for thse knuckleheads is based on volume. If they send out 1,000 scams a day and score on one, they hit it good. If they score twice everyday - jackpot!

Whereas there is much discussion here about how much money is stolen by these scumbags, there is never any mention about how much time is stolen. Genuine men on this site will have invested countless hours and emotions in corresponding with ladies that they assumed were genuine, to find that they were scammers.
I admit, that in the past I have personally spent countess hours corresponding with scammers-without realizing it. That was up to three years ago before I discovered how to trace IP addresses etc-- then I was shocked to find that ALL of these ‘ladies’ were operating from the same few scammers IP addresses!!
Regarding money lost, I only ever sent $70 about 5 years ago, and it is some small consolation that she was quite professional, -- her whole family was involved.
The record that I have seen reported as being scammed, was a guy in US who gave a lady access to his credit cards, and she scammed him for $60,000!!!
So the moral here, especially to newcomers, is ALWAYS check EVERY IP address on EVERY single email from ALL ladies. And, unfortunately, assume ‘Guilty until proven innocent’!
Also, wait until you have saved enough money to go visit ladies in their country. I have visited: Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, nothing beats meeting face to face, -- but still be streetwise.
