The Maldives islands, South Pacific and may other's have white sand hell it could be in New Mexico for all we know.

That looks like the "sugary" white sand from down here in my neck of the woods in the Gulf of Mexico. But I've heard that some areas of Hawaii also have beaches with sand that white, they also have the black sand too. I'm no world traveler, but the pics of beaches I saw in Russia, Ukraine, etc don't have sand like that, just as Dameon said. The ones I saw had the old yellowish/brown ugly sand like in a kid's sandbox.

I don't believe there are any beaches in the Ukraine, Russia or any other part of E. Europe with sand that white. Even the beaches in Italy do not have sand like that.
