kitzell - the WU receipt works great and you can really get under their skin that way. If you wanna see results, print that receipt, fill it out with a pen, scan it and email it to the scammer and send them off running. They will come back wanting you to call WU and straighten things out, then you can send them once more and let me tell you, you will get some nasty letters, lol, proof that you have wasted their time and inconvenienced and discouraged them in some way

points are issued to only full members. I have reported close to 200 scammers here and I even know one of the people who works for anti-scam and I still cannot get a full membership.

Comment from ethan

How many points do you have to get before you get the "full membership" for free? Or how many posts do you have to make? I can read user comments and see photos, but I can't access the "more information" with my free membership.

Oh yeah, I couldn't have planned that to work any better than it did. The scammer was very upset about that being on there and the western union clerk commenting about it to him/her. I'm still getting nasty emails. You're right about that Elondria Lit chick, she is as pretty as she can be. When my buddy showed me her pics and told me he was talking to "this amazingly gorgeous russian lady" my jaw dropped for a moment before I came to my senses, lol.

Comment from Dameon

The Paris Hilton wannabe on Elondria Lit are probably the most used pictures by scammers. Lord knows I wish she was real. And having W.U. seeing the receipt that showed "scambuster" on it was a good thing. W.U. has no choice but to keep an eye out on that individual. So you did good.

Comment from ethan

Well, my Nigerian scammer is very upset with me this morning, very upset. He went to western union for the second time, this time with the fake receipt I scanned and emailed him. The western union clerk noticed something at the bottom of the sheet of paper that the scanned receipt was on that I missed and the scammer missed too. When there was no money after inputting the MTCN number I guess my scammer showed the clerk the scanned receipt. And I shouldn't have missed this but I did in my haste, but at the bottom of the sheet of regular paper the scan was on was printed "http://www.scambuster419.co.uk/Graphics/blankreceipts/blankreceipts1.jpg".....LOL....When I printed the fake blank receipt and filled it out and went to the scanner with it and scanned it, I forgot to make sure I covered that up so the scammer didn't see it. It was a stupid mistake, but the scammer didn't catch it, the Western Union clerk did, ROFLMAO. I wish I coulda been there to see the scammer try to explain that!!! Anyway, the scammer sent me a nasty letter asking why I sent a fake receipt, still playing the game too I might add and saying I embarrassed "her" and how mean it was to "prey" on an innocent woman just trying to get home. (yeah right) If I didn't want to help her I should have just said so, lol. Anyway, guess she doesn't love me anymore. But even though I blew my fake receipt cover I bet the scammer won't go back to that western union office now that they feel they have been exposed. What do you guys think?

Thanks Dameon, I appreciate it. I wish there was some way I could take them down. Based on my research and reading I think the one(s) who got him were an organized bunch. I read every letter they (she) sent him, and there was alot. They corresponded for about 2 months and she/they were very patient. He mentioned coming to see her or her coming to him after about one month and "she" said it was too soon, and that they needed to get to know each other better. So because of the patience that was shown and the large amount of time that was invested, I feel like he got hit by an organized group of scammers from Yoshkar-Ola rather than an individual scammer. But who knows for sure, they used very common pics, the model or wannabe model Elondria Lit, and some of the pics looked fairly normal. But agree with what you said about the quality of pics, only the dumbest and most desperate (and likely broke) will fall for the model pics, no offense to anyone that did, my best friend did, but the real money lies in the pics of the normal looking chicks with average looks, as that is more believable.

Comment from Dameon

I had better pix of this one, but G-mail archives its e-mail a little strangely and I could not pull all the photos. I would bet that scammers who use pictures of women who have average looks do much better than the scammers who use pix of chicks that look like models. Most rational men are going to know that there is no way some gorgeous model looking type babe is going to fall in love with them after a dozen e-mails. But I think some men might be more inclined to believe it if the chick looks like someone from the neighborhood gin mill. I see that you are new here Ethan - have fun and kick some ass. I have probably been around here the longest of this crew, so I wih you well and I hope you get the chance to take down the punk that took your friend.

Comment from Ethan

Dameon - you should have sent the poor girl a few bucks for a decent hair cut. A little color and styling sure couldn't hurt this one. But on the other hand you could look at this one as a "low-maintenance" future wife scammer.

Comment from Dameon - The Game

Again, the Web Adm. here seems to have no problem posting my full name but all other posting just have the first initial of everyone else. I wonder if there is a contract out on me in Russia and E. Europe ;-? Perhaps the W.A. got paid a few extra coin to make sure my name is always fully shown ;-) I guess it is Time to Play The Game!
