Have to agree with Roamer to a certain extent.One party certainly needs to be able to speak the others language to the extent of being able to ask & answer questions.Having personal experience,my last partner being Chinese,it would be best if she has an intermediate level of English.She's coming to YOUR country,so SHE must learn the language.You certainly also want ensure that she is having regular English lessons.If you can't communicate,it ain't going to work out or it will be extremely difficult at best.

Ok Randolf & Tom, I am always bothered by people who want to find a mate who cannot understand the native language of the other... To me it makes absolutely no sense to pay any agency for translation fees even if they are a legitimate company... How in the hell are you supposed to have a relationship with another person if you cannot even understand what the other person is talking about??? On every single dating site it lists the different languages the ladies speak... If your native language isn't listed under the profile of the one you are interested in, then you are just wasting your time...Imagine, if you will, your first meeting in person...Now she speaks her native tongue and you are totally befuddled while looking through a translation book to understand what in the hell she is saying...Now it's your turn to say something.....Oh me, she has the exact look on her face...Totally confused !!! I believe that if both of you can speak and understand say German, well then you are able to have a conversation and probably have half a chance of furthering a relationship...Now don't get me wrong, anything is possible if both parties want to understand and are willing to put alot of time into wanting to learn the others language.... Now you speak English, now if the woman that your interested in can understand some English, well then you have a better chance... Wasting money for translation fees seems like a waste of money....You might as well flush all of that money down the toilet.......Because basically thats what you are doing...
