Hi! Miss Underworld,I'm glad you brought up the subject about...Lottery scams! I'm sorry to hear about your friend.I have recieved a number of emails from these type of scams before.I'm sure the lottery scam are one of the most common types of fraudulant emails currently hitting inboxes besides the so-called Nigerian-419 scams and of course...our famous Pissheads from Russia. It's amazing how many types of lottery scams are out there and where they come from.Miss Underworld,I have been meaning to ask you,I came across a article earlier this year about a bust in Norway, involving a group of lottery scammers.Where you one of the person involved in having them exposed?

Hello Underworld, You make a valid point about Lottery Scams’. Just last week I received an apparently genuine letter giving details of how I had won 615K Euros. Further details are: Loteria Nacional, Plaza Niccaragua, 31 Planta 2, 28020 Madrid, Espana. 0034 665 541 628// Fax: 0034 911 011 942 // Winther Serguros S.L., Don Jose Rey They asked for my bank details to send the monies.-- DA!! Like I am going to give a stranger my bank details?!! Also, as I stopped believing in Santa many years ago, I was suspicious. As this originated in Spain, I had the brainwave to contact a Spanish colleague and friend to check them out. This is his reply to me: “ Dear ‘Ppantherp’, This is over two hundred times that I have received or seen this fraud. But it is the ONLY time which has allowed me to get enough information to place a claim to the police. I contacted them by phone and as soon as I started making questions they hanged up the phone. They are foreigners because they could not even speak Spanish. If I were you I would also put a claim in the British Police, indicating that I have also placed one with the following details: Police Station of Salamanca District, Madrid Ref. number 12818 Instructor: 84897 In that way, both police could follow the matter. The letter could have received by many other people and there may be people in Britain involved in the fraud. Kind regards, Eduardo” I have forwarded this correspondence to the British Fraud Squad, which is at: 'fraud.alert@met.police.uk' I am sure that others have the necessary contacts for Interpol, FBI, etc

I get 3 to 4 hits a week from Nigerians. They are stupid, but not as much so as those who fall for their scam. When will people realize there are no beautiful (or ugly for that matter) white women trapped in Nigeria? IF SHE SAYS SHE'S FROM NIGERIA, IT'S A SCAM!
