I see that they cannot truthfully answer the questions that I posed earlier....I guess that the inevitible truth in the answers to my questions is just to harsh a medicine to swallow....

Anon - Kitzell does not seem to be posting derogatory information about the women of the FSU. All he is doing is warning others of the men (criminals) that use photos of unsuspecting women to try and get some guy to send them money.

you must feel like a big man now kitzell5? with your strong words and insults toward a lady.my guess is,the opposite sex makes you feel nervous.I like to know kitzell5,do you always have a bad attitude? or is it,you grew up in a abusive family?

What the f*k is going on here now? First off - no one is claiming that most women from Russia or the FSU are bad. In fact, the opposite is thought. Since it is well known that most scammers are men using stoten pictures, all anyone is trying to do here is warn people that they must tread carefully. I do agree with you that most young Russian women have no interest in meeting some middle-aged man from America or Western Europe. And Mr. Paid Member - no one cares what you think. So stop jumping up and down on your f'n keyboard with your tantrums and go take your medication. And if you don't like what I have to say, you are more than welcome to come down to Karma's on 1st Ave. in the East Village of Manhattan and I will have no problem turning you into a decorative item that I can hang from my motorcycle. But thank you for playing.

Yeah, I'll have a large "Mocha" and a bagel !! I see it's getting heavy here again and some women can't seem to accept the fact that we are here because of the scammers....If life over in the FSU is so great, then why in the hell are so many ladies from over there looking to leave that place?? Now why is that?? Why would a lady post an add online to find a mate if they weren' willing to relocate?? And how many Russian and Ukrainian women leave their country and move to many cities in Europe to find work?? Why is that?? Great living conditions?? Great health benefits?? Great job opportunities?? Excellent pay?? Well, what's the answer??? HUH???

Kitzell - I have done that with a few scammers (usually the real dumb ones would comply). Roamer - just checking; I just didn't want anyone to think that it was impossible for someone to get to the US from Russia or the FSU. Believe it or not, it is more difficult for them to acquire a visa to Italy. It seems there are some serious immigration issues with FSU women in Northern Italy and it is the Italian women who are b*tching about it to the Government. Never piss off an Italian woman.

you right in some aspects annonymous. not all russian and ukraine women are bad. most of them are honest and serious women. most scammers are men stealing photo's from other sites, WE KNOW THIS AND ARE NOT STUPID!! this site is about advice and information for those who either have been scammed or want to know if the one they write to is a scammer. this is only one of several sites for this kind of information. i can't speak for most women in Russia or Ukraine, but a hell of a lot of them do look for a man abroad, some only want a passport to a foreign country, but a lot want serious love and marriage outside their country. as i said, we are not stupid. and we know that the scammers cause a lot of problems for the women in the photo's, please don't try to lecture us.

fellas you have to realize,NOT! all russian girls are bad.it only takes a few bad men to give the wrong expression about us! most women here are not interested in looking for a man abroad.if you think about it,a girl wants her man next to her,NOT! miles away.most of us,will not waste time on internet looking for our soulmates and if they do,they want only one thing! NOT a soulmate or someone to love

Good advice too kitzell5, and what also can be done is to directly buy the ticket from the airlines using a credit card thats not able to be cashed in for it's value, that way she either has to fly or she stays there.... If she won't fly to you then you won't lose your money because you just cancel and get a refund directly to your cards account...

good advice derrick posted .. i'd like to add that the rules jacko used on scammers is also good thankfully i'd backed up the txt file of them bfore my pc went tits up last month so still have them. here's the ones he used, and i've used them to good effect meself twice since he posted his scammer. I am so happy for you that you have got everything sorted out and are almost on your way. In just 1 short week you could be here in Australia with a new outlook on life. Now for the difficult part. Because there are so many internet scams such as this one, I would not send money to anyone by Western Union unless the following conditions are met and agreed with. Also I have spoken with Western Union and they suggest options 1. And 2. Below. They say with this method they have caught many people attempting FRAWD in Russia. 1. I need you to take a picture of your self TODAY while you are holding the local Newspaper clearly showing the front page and headings. It has to be today??™s paper, not one from last week or another day, and also your passport next to the news paper. It must be you holding both items in your hands for the picture. No cut and paste on the computer. 2. I will arrange with Western Union to not give you any money unless you can produce full photo ID that has the same person pictured as in the pictures you have sent me (I will be sending them the pictures, and you must show the exact same passport that you have scanned and sent to me), and also to detain you and notify the Police if it is an attempted FRAWD. This way if you are a scammer you will not be able to receive the money and I get refunded. Or 3. You provide me the name of the travel agent and the name of the person you are dealing with. Also their web page address. This way I can send the money direct to them and your ticket is paid for. Please let me know which method you would like to use. Either 1. and 2. or 1. and 3. You must complete 1. First. Please accept my apology for putting you through this, but if you are real it is a very small inconvenience for you to go through to start a new life and to save me loosing AU$1100.00 to a FRAWD. worked for me ... should help out the newbies too.

Dameon, I only reposted what a guy named Derrick had posted about scammers and thought that most of it would be of assistance and help those less knowledgeable about such things have a more generalized idea of what to look for and what to look out for....I think you might have thought that those were my words, which in part they could be advice from all of us guys that have been around the block with these scammers and are more than happy to help anyone dealing with them for the first time..... If others want to know where I obtained this advice you can go to this address--http://www.delphifaq.com/faq/russian_marriage_scams/f991.shtml?p=45

Roamer - as much as it pains me to disagree with you, I find that I must in this case. 30 day tourist visas are difficult but not unobtainable. But from what I have seen, many young ladies come here on student visas. I know many of them. Also, in the summer time, NY is swamped with young Russian and FSU girls who come here just to make money. They hear from their friends that they can make $1500 a week in the topless bars and they are on the first plane after their school semester ends. Also, when I was in Moldova, I saw many adverts for young people to go to the US on temporary work visas. So the stories we receive in some of these scam e-mails (Coming to your country to work) are based on reality. A sure sign that she is lying is when she says that she has no phone. It is the 21st century, what woman does not have access to a phone :-)

I think that this list needs to be posted here on a monthly basis!! What do all of you guys think??? Are you an American or Western European man exchanging emails with a girl from Russia? I was contacted by a girl who turned out to be a scammer. Reader Derrick put together some great advice how to detect scammers. I only have one advice (#8) to add: If a Russian girl tells you that she will get a visa to the USA instead of inviting you, that is - under the current immigration law - a SURE sign that SHE LIES. Here is the process how a Russian woman can come to the USA: If she is considered a relatively young/ attractive woman (let's say under 40, hope I don't hurt anyone's feelings here), then there is virtually NO CHANCE THAT SHE GETS A TOURIST VISA TO THE USA. First the Russian Federation will not allow her to leave the country. Then, even if she was getting out, the USA will deny her admission. The reasoning is that she is considered a risk. How could she not be a risk? If she had family in Russia (husband, children) or a valuable business or real estate. Most likely the woman who writes you will be considered a risk. The only way for her to get a visa into the USA is this procedure: the foreign man visits her in her native area in Russia they get engaged during such a visit - take photos of the 2 of you together he flies back and applies for a K-1 visa. A K-1 visa is also known as Fiancee visa, used for marriage-based immigration once the K1 visa is granted, the girl can enter the USA and stay there for 3 months. By the end of these 3 months you HAVE to GET MARRIED or the girl has to go back home. if you get married, the girl gets a greencard and can work after 3 years of marriage, the girl can apply for a US citizenship. That's when they interview you to find out if it's a real marriage. She also has to answer some questions about US history, political system, etc etc. Here are Derrick's tricks (1-7) that he uses immediately from the start: GOOGLE or websearch the first part of the scammers first emails and/or 'profile'. SEE HOW MANY OTHER SITES their listed on! RECORD THOSE SITES FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. THAT alone can give you a good idea IF your dealing with a scammer OR not. GOOGLE or websearch the return email address. See how many 'hits' come from that search and also note all the sites. (many times you'll see the email end up on a 'scammers list') IF YOU FIND THE EMAIL ADDRESS LISTED ON A SCAMMER LIST - don't bother further, your only fooling yourself - no matter what excuse they might give you. FROM THE START - ASK FOR SPECIFIC INFOMATION! A full name, address, phone number - something. OFFER THE SAME in exchange, except make it a P.O. box and a CELL PHONE rental card that will protect your identity. If you see your requests ignored, which you usually will, don't waste your time further. ALWAYS ASK SPECIFIC QUESTIONS that would REQUIRE A SPECIFIC ANSWER outside the use of FORM LETTERS. IF YOU FIND your questions go unaddress in your reply emails from 'them/her' - YOUR DEALING WITH A SCAMMER. Again, don't bother further. DON'T WAIT 6 MONTHS to offer to talk with the PROSPECT by phone! WHAT A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME! IF THERE IS CHEMISTRY OR APPEARS 'INTEREST' BETWEEN THE TWO OF YOU - then sieze the opportunity. ARRANGE A PHONE CALL! International rates to Russia and most places are reasonably cheap. IF YOU GET THE REPLY ' I'M SO POOR I DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO A PHONE' - drop the whole thing, your only wasting your time and WILL BE SCAMMED at some point in the future. PHOTO FLOOD! IF IT/SHE/HIM/THEM - LOOK TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE - THEN IT PROBABLY IS! MOST IF NOT ALL OF THE SCAMMES USE PHOTOS OF MODELS IN THEIR HOME COUNTRIES TO POSE ON THE NET IN THEIR PROFILE(s)! Consider this - IF THEY LOOK like a MODEL then tell you they're so poor they don't have access to a phone - YOUR BEING SCAMMED! ASK FOR A SPECIAL PHOTO TO BE TAKEN. IF YOU SENT YOURS, HAVE THEM TAKE A PHOTO SHOWING THEM HOLDING UP YOUR PHOTO IN THE PICTURE! That is a good 'scammer filter' - even the most adept with Photoshop will easily be spoted. BETTER STILL - ASK THEM TO TAKE A PHOTO THAT SHOWS THEM HOLDING A CURRENT NEWPAPER OF YOUR CHOICE OR THEIR COUNTRY, WITH A RESOLUTION THAT YOU CAN READ THE DATE! NOT some low grade - grainy photo! FEW WILL EVER DO THAT. AT THE LEAST - ASK THEM FOR A PHOTO of them wearing a specific combination of clothes and/or colors - something different then the usual 'model clothing' - most use to send out. OR AN OBJECT - TOASTER, ELECTRIC CLOCK, BY A COUCH, IN A ROCKING CHAIR something that would be very hard to use PHOTOSHOP to just PUT in another FILE PHOTO. *** IF this person is real or sincere, they won't mind doing this for you! ALSO - offer to do the same for their comfort also - that is only fair. IF THINGS GET SERIOUS - then ASK THEM TO DELETE ALL THEIR OTHER WEB PROFILE POSTS! CHECK ON THE ONES YOU NOTED EARLIER! Again, IF THEIR SINCERE - they will - happily as your their DREAM and future! If she talks about getting a visa or that she needs money to get a travel visa to the USA, she lies. See the proper course of action described at the top.
