Just an out there question: Has ayonne had any experience with learning foreign languages from a native speaker? How was it?I learned Russian from a well educated and prepared native speaker, from Yakut! For me it was a great experience, and helped me grasp a truer sense of the language!

I knew as soon as I heard her that Janna was Dutch. I loved the interview. My ptnares were born in Holland during the war (that would be WWII) and later emigrated to Canada. Although I didn't learn to knit that way, we were told that the traditional way to knit was with a needle under the arm. I think it's a type of lever knitting (as opposed to continental or English). I have my grandmother's old dpns for socks and they're like 16-18 inches long!! Crazy.
