First of all I would like to say, nice having you back Freddyboy. Its been to long.Yes its a never ending battle against these criminals.Latest update stating that their getting more powerful.Thats why I say, close down all these dam dating-sites.Their up to no good anyways. The majority of profile list on these dating-sites are bait! And as for the owners of these websites,do you think their going to do that for their clients? I don't think so! There are almost as crooked as as the criminals themself.I have never used the service of these so called dating sevice and I have no intention on ever using them.I strongly believe if they were force to close down, this would save a lot of guys from been scammed and heartaches.I have been pursuing on this matter. The more that is heard the better chance of these website listening. Roamer I hate to say this about AOB because I know you like that website, but the fact is,they are almost as bad as the Anastasia website. For example check out profile #19161 and tell me what you see? Underworld!I have no idea who you are?? or what organization you represent. My question is,why would you want me to work for you?

I am truely glad to see you guys still ''in the hunt''....and I also am very pleased that the thinkers have realised we can't stop these scammers without some assistance from the web sites themselves. To keep chasing these scammers around and reporting them is simply useless....there are literally thousands of phoney profiles on the net [maybe a lot more] and for everyone you report they create 3 more to take it's place. Most of these scams are reported after the fact...the damage has already been done. Dameon you have hit the nail squarely on the head....the websites MUST make their clients very aware of the possibility of these scammers and what the average joe should be watching for..good grief how can any respectable business let this knowingly happen to their paying clientel and not do anything to protect them. It would almost seem like the dating web sites are either owned by or being paid of by these scam rings. I don't know...but is it possible. Kudos to you my friends....now you have really located the problem.

Geesh, Dameon.....you really screwed up the Queen's English on the comment. I see a couple more you missed....came should be come. Maybe that was the only one. Anyhow, I think KGB guy is the same ass who has been dogging you under a variety of different names. He needs to brush up on his histrory, for if he was ever in the KGB, then we had nothing to fear.

Comment from J.W.Marks----AKA----Roamer

Good morning all, I have been searching around for more info on how men and women alike can protect themselves from these damn scammers....I discovered a page that I feel all dating sites should be made to manditorially post as their home page about the possibility of scammers using their websites....May I suggest to all newcomers who are in the dilema of trying to figure everything out with the lines that some of the scammers use, that if they go to www.womenforlove.com/information/scam_info.html#q1 Going here will show you all some questions and answers related to scammers....If you need to find out facts about traveling, well then go to www.travel.state.gov/travel/rid.html Questions about Russian visas should be directed to www.usembassy.ru To find out about the immigration process and true costs involved with getting them over here, you need to go to http://uscis.gov And if you want to ascertain the validity of a visa, then you should go to fpmm@state.gov I know that if each and every Dating Site was made to post all of these various sites to make their consumers aware of everything involved in the processes of meeting and possibly bringing their "chosen" one home, the scams would be reduced dramatically....I hope that everyone, including the class, goes to every site that I just posted for a refresher course of everthing involved on these processes...Remember, the more educated we are with the facts, the more valuable we can become for others with assistance....

I know Dameon:) I don't disagree with you.I don't doubt you for a minute with what you know and the information you have collect. It would be cool if we could get together and combine our data and really go after these two b*stards.I know for a fact if these two are brought down, that would be a major I mean major blow to the organization. But fat change of that happening soon.We both know this wouldn't wipe out the criminal activity completely.Their are other organization out there that are just as power.Dameon your so right what you said when a guy gets scammed, nothing really get done.We have to defend for ourself. Now If it was the opposite sex then that would be a different story. No offends to all you ladies out there. As for these dating-sites,my opinion!they should all be shut down.I think this would stop a hell of a lot guys from getting riped off and put a big dent in those criminals pockets.I believe Roamer had mention this at one time or another.I know everyone is not going to agree with this and thats alright. But it sure would save the average guy a lot of money and heart aches.Hey Dameon want you to know when a person Preaches,it shows that they are serious and care to whats happening:)) Talk to you later my friend.

I have actually done this in small doses, just to see if there is a touch of interest. Nothing! I actually believe that if this was a case of women getting scammed, they would be all over this. But I will do my share on this.

Maybe if you clean up the little preaching that you posted and forward it to as many newspapers under the Editorial sections, maybe it will create more awareness....Maybe if you notify Oprah and Phil, stating that you are sending out an editorial to their newspapers in their area about their refusal to get involved???? Who knows Dameon, I think that it's worth a shot...Kind of like a "Lobbiest"...

Bad press is a company's worst enemy. It is here that we have a chance. I just do not know what press to go to. I have sent e-mails to Match.com's benefactor's, Oprah and Phil and have received no response. Thanks for coming back Big Sis. The site is always a bit warmer when you make an appearance.

Hmm, Dameon, it is a very serious topic and of course you are right that they make money on both ends..but what are you going to do? I am not sure that you can change something...

Preach It....I've said to myself the exact same thing D...I've posted in the past about hitting the providers, and they just want everyones money that's all they care about.....They feel that who the f*ck cares when we have a million customers and only a handful of whiners...Out 2 cents really doesn't matter to them.....Maybe if we find some "Free Press" sites, that have a wide audience....I still like the "Geraldo" idea I came up with awhile back....And I don't think that BP knows about all the "mob" wars from the past here in the USA.. But, I know what you are saying!!!

Comment from Dameon

Gentlemen, I am going to preach a little, so please forgive me - I am going to post this comment on two profiles. First B.P.; I am not really disagreeing with you. What I am saying is that Y.O. has different groups working within the city. Much like there are 5 known organized crime families in NYC. They are not the same, but yet they are. We are all concentrating on the source of the scam and it is here where we make our biggest mistake. We will never stop the scammers. Example; the pictures of the chick on profile # 2430 has appeared on 17 profiles on American Singles since Saturday morning. American Singles is well aware of this, yet they do nothing about it. Why is that? Their mindset is; we are going to make our monthly fee from these scammers and someone will report them within a week and then they will remove them. Plus, there is a good chance that men just browsing the site will see such pretty faces and join the site as well. They make money on both ends and yet are not held liable when these scams happen. My point is why are they even allowing these profiles to come online. It only takes 5 seconds for some unsuspecting guy to see the profile and lose his mind over the picture. The samething goes for the Nigerian scams that use the downloaded photos from Focus Hawaii International. American Singles, Yahoo, Match and True are all well aware of this, but they all do nothing. All it would take is a posted warning on their home page or online page about potential scammers and you would see the success rate of these scams drop dramatically. They could even hire a person to broswe through their online section and see what is out there that is phony. I can pick out a scammer profile in less than a heartbeat. It is not hard. And why haven't they created their own database of scammers? It is these sites that are the true scammers. It is like OPEC and the Big Oil Companies (BOC). OPEC runs their mouths, the BOC does nothing, we pay more for gas and yet BOC records recording breaking profits each year.We place our anger at the source; the countries, yet it is the BOC that we should target. So that is what I am saying here; we need to come up with a way to knock some sense into these online dating services that just do not give a sh*t about us. No matter what may be reported on Oprah and Dr. Phil; the majority of these dating scams are perpetrated on men. If it was mostly women, we would be hearing about it more often. I guess my point is that we need to go after the sites. I have placed negative reviews on various blogs about these dating sites, but I do not think the general population of the cyber dating world ever really sees them. So my question to all of you is this; what can we do about it? A lot of us now are in communication with each other off this site. Maybe we can come up with something. Big Sis, Russian Lady and Pia; your insights are most welcome on this issue as well. Have a good day everyone. And Rocky and Bullwinkle send their best to Boris and Natasha :-)
