I have been saying the same repeatedly!! I just know that they aren't as critical with their caring who picked up the funds.....Hell here in Florida everyday they bust people for making fake IDs like drivers licenses and even social security cards...It's a no-brainer, they are doing the same thing over there...

OUCH...that last comment seems to know what they are talking about. I know it wasn't me who posted it..but if all they need is the number and willing to give a % to the bank clerk then there is no way in hell of ever finding out who really picks the money up. I hate that..you guys just sorta start to get a handle on things and then we find out crap like this..another loop hole that can't be plugged.

R - they don't use aliases because they would not be able to retrieve the money from Western Union. The name that they give is definitely that of a real person (Scammer). Although Western Union is powerless to do anything to stop the scam (Unless the name has already been blacklisted to them), they are very aware of the situation and require clear-cut identification. Even the knuckleheads in Nigeria know this, that is why they always try and get their intended victim to send the money to a supposed male friend. That friend is usually themselves and they will then be able to retrieve the W.U.
