I will need her Yahoo e-mail address to find out when her account was opened. Yahoo has not been too cooperative in closing down accounts unless they are listed in Yahoo personals and are committing fraud through that site. They will delete profiles but the accounts stay active.

Though I have written and played along I have always been wondering if this could be real. I had done a web search a while back and came up with nothing. Tried again today Mar 31) and found this site. From reading what is here, all my supicions seem to be true. I will not go over a lot of my writings with her since it would be duplicating stuff already here. However, one thing I can add that might be important is that her surname has been ZAHAROVA. In a recent mail to me see says that she has changed her name to her mother's name ORLOVA. "I shall make a copy of my passport tomorrow. I have absolutely overlooked to take it today. My dear my surname Orlova. Now my name is Oksana Orlova." I quizzed her as to why she changed her name. No answer on it but she has kept writing. To me it is pretty clear that her name is out there as a scammer and she (or he) hopes that this will cause people to miss them on wed searches. You pros that run these web sites I expect know how to link names and alias'. I will keep monitoring this site. Let me know if you want to know anything more from me.

I will not go over a lot of my writings with her since it would be duplicating stuff already here. However, one thing I can add that might be important is that her surname has been ZAHAROVA. In a recent mail to me see says that she has changed her name to her mother's name ORLOVA. "I shall make a copy of my passport tomorrow. I have absolutely overlooked to take it today. My dear my surname Orlova. Now my name is Oksana Orlova." I quizzed her as to why she changed her name. No answer on it but she has kept writing. To me it is pretty clear that her name is out there as a scammer and she (or he) hopes that this will cause people to miss them on wed searches. You pros that run these web sites I expect know how to link names and alias'. I will keep monitoring this site. Let me know if you want to know anything more from me.

Well fellas.. it continues... I was gone for over a week and I had left with a very strong accusation in O's inbox. She hadn't replied to me at all so I was hopeful that something might be waiting when I got back. There still was nothing... no "Hello my half of heart" or anything. (I figured that there probably would be nothing and indeed there wasn't). I decided to fire off a very short inquirey to her asking, why she didn't reply, what had changed.. etc. I also asked if she ever received the package i sent to her. Normally the frequency of letters between her and me was every other day. If I send a letter Wednesday night, I'ld get a reply on Friday. Well, I sent this short e-mail to her on Sturday night, and less than 12 hours I got a reply. (Very strange... this kid must live in the Internet of Cafe) It was a few sentences long... nothing answered, just a comment that I had asked "a lot" of questions and her head hurt. (that just made me laugh). Still, she ended up saying she wanted to hear my opinions and wanted "an intimate" reply... God, this kid (or guy) doesn't give up... even when the bottom has dropped out of the basket. The few things I can conclude from e-mailing this "Oksana" for over three months is this: 1) She is not honest...2) She sends copies of letters to different people; 3) She "falls in love " in about 2-3 weeks time, where her words indicate that she can't go a moment without thinking of you and wanting you (barf) 4) She avoids serious questions like the plague. All of this tells me one MAJOR big thing... to be involved with this b.... is a frustrating waste of time, and probably will come down to an appeal for money. She never answered any of my questions about her passport, visas, travel plans, or anything that she "hung out there" as a carrot for me to hope for. I wonder if Yahoo.com should be made aware of this... obviously something is very amiss here.

Kenbetchel.. count your blessings... you found out before it was too late. Yes, I also got her address and sent her a package, but I don't know that she received it. Aside from that. I too have been sending letters back and forth... I too, received letters that were copies of letters that others had posted here. (Jd's letter that is now gone). I too, wrote Oksana and appealed to her to explain herself... but... nothing. Dropped like a hot potatoe. No response, no explaination, nothing. After thirty some letters where I was , "the unique one", the "half of her heart", the only one she was writing to, I find that it is not true.. that she was setting me up. I even offered to come over and visit her in Russia, but when she said that wouldn't work, i suspected bad things. It turns out she is trying to scam us all. This is very short right here, but there are a number of things that happened that were tips to her deception... I'm just glad this website confrmed what I suspected.

Remember that many of the letters we receive were actually written in Russian and then translated by some online service. That is why some letters seem like they come from the same writer. You did post a letter and I am not sure why the Web Adm. deleted it. Most pictures are stolen from internet cafes or Russian and Ukranian versions of "My Space". I would bet that the person who wrote me was different then the one who wrote you both. And I still would wager that the actual sender of the letters is an Ivan. Sometimes they write themselves, sometimes they have their girlfriends, sometimes they pay someone to write them. You never really know. Altough you believe the writer a woman; just keep in the back of your mind that it might be an Ivan.

I have been e-mailing her since mid -January... the e-mail that I mentioned to you was sent to me sometime in February (I think). I have saved all her e-mails and it would take me some time to re-read all of them to find exactly what day. I looked some of them over and found the pics that she sent to me. I finally sent her a "confrontational" letter asking why she sent me a duplicate letter from a week ago, and almost accused her of being a scammer> Her next letter ro me began, "Thanks for your attention...." Totally inappropriate to what I had sent her. I simply re-sent it to her, and now await whatever prewritten letter may come. I know what you are feeling... I feel it too, but it is becoming very much clearer that this lady/ experience is not being honest with us.

Hey Thanks Geeves....i've talked to scammers before. This one literally blew me away. It may not be the woman in the photos, but i think it was at least a woman. The details of her life and photos she sent, made a believer out of me. I used to think 98% really her, but now with all the input I've received, probably 80-20.

Just let me say this. I am thankful that this site is here. Scamming is deiceitful and leaves victims in its wake. No one should have to go through it. But we are suckers for love and good piece of tail. Human sexuality is a powerful force. I protected my heart with Oksana so I'll be fine. All we really did was swap e-mail....no harm done. I'll give her another week or so...just in case she turns out to be who she says. I understand the scamming angle and it "seems" like this is the case here. But it also could be a "real woman" with real feelings and I want to give her every opportunity. BTW the entry of Scott Fegley appeared very familiar ay least thats the way they seemed to me. This doesn't prove anything. Modern women can get pretty graphic. I know because I have 3 sons, age 20, 18 and 15 and they fill me in. I think the ratio is 8 to 10. In the Russian culture if a woman is not married when younger, approx 21-28 yrs. she is looked down upon by their society. Many of the men there are loser types (much like the guys on this site) just kidding! So they look for that "special guy". Much like women here but not as agendized with money, status, etc. It's a basic human need to be loved and to love. I still maintain she is real. But she hasn't responded lately so I don't know whats going on.

I appreciate the concern. Just keep this in mind. There are real scammers out there. And there are real women, who are lonely, desparate, looking for "the one". The relationship that Oksana and I had over the Internet was like no other I have ever had. I've had a few. The scammers shake out pretty quick. May I chime in, J.D.? The letters Dameon has posted are the same that I have received from other Russian women. One trick I use to determine if the woman in the pictures is the woman writing the letters is to have her take a unique picture just for me. I might ask her to send me a photo of her holding a book in one hand and a boot or jacket in the other. I figure no one would have such a ridiculous picture on file. If she objects, or comes up with some excuse such as her camera is broken, well, that pretty much settles it for me. I tell her the truth behind my request and if she is sincere and understands my reasoning, she won't object. It is still no guarantee that she is not a scammer, but at least you will know one way or another that the woman writing the letters is the one in the pictures. It may still be a scam, so beware.

My assesment of Oksana is this: real woman, lonely, not alot of options, living in a small town in Russia, looking for love and a husband and she uses the internet to do it. What I have found is that many of these guys who have been scammed are more upset about the emotional hurt than the loss of a couple of thousand dollars. I would agree with you Dochs; but it is not likely that you will find tham on a regular online dating site (Yahoo, Match, etc.) Most of the legit chicks are found through specialized agencies. No, I am not an Aussie - I am born and bred New Yorker! I will copy/paste one of her letters here for you to read later on. All Russian women say that they have a healthy and fit body. And the chick in these photos certainly has one; but the naked picture she sent is clearly that of a different chick. Just be careful man and listen to what I am saying when it comes to making travel plans. If she says that she can get an apartment for you at a good price; say no thank you. Dochs - She started writing me on Dec. 14th and by Jan. 3rd she was claiming her love for me. I cut her off on Feb. 23rd. Mind you, I never sent this person a picture of me. Besides the pictures that are posted here, she sent a photo of someone with her dress pulled over her head; so all you see is the naked body, but no face. I could easily tell that it was not her because it was a completely different body type. I mean maybe you are talking to the real chick and I was writing with someone else who was using her photos. Has she mentioned that she wants to travel to you because it is her family custom? I know you want to believe and I don't want to take that hope away from you. But the only way you will know for sure is by going there. And trust me; Russia and East Europe are great vacations. Just make all your own reservations for lodging. Stay at a reputable hotel. The only thing I have to say is this; I have hunted scammers as a hobby for almost two years now. I have never been wrong. No, the one after her. Yeah, this is definitely a new face. I totally screwed with this one. One of her letters was her description of a sexual dream that she had and I responded back that I was insulted by such a letter and that a true Russian woman would never express such things to someone she never met. She did some serious backtracking and apologizing after that. She also sent one photo which I did not post which definitely was not her. The pic was of a woman pulling a dress up over her head. So you saw her naked body without seeing her face. The body was too muscular to have been hers. You can easily see that the letters were definitely written by an Ivan. She is probably the girlfriend or something of the actual scammer. Only 2 left to report. Jess and I are double teaming one of them. I hope she is enjoying herself.

I see that she's showing you that she shaved her armpits....And is that a scar on her right thigh??? Such a shame that she has to resort to scamming, she is pretty...Also, I checked the t-room and she isn't listed with this name...And she's not listed on scamalert under this name either, not much on google, only an older woman 5-5-1976 who is an economics engineer....
