Once she hit me up for $$ I stopped writing back. Then after a 2 week period, I wrote her saying I had been sick and need to pay my doctor bills. I got a email the next day. then a few more emails followed. then finally said something about an aunt who married an American who had died and had $$ in the bank and wanted me to open an account so she could wire the money to me.

She now say's she will be here in February. She also sticks to her story about her ailing mother. However, her mother is doing a bit better now, but.....those damn bills! However will she pay them?

She must have taken whatever money she made off the guys that believed her scam and went on vacation because now she's back! I just got another e mail from her. The last one I received fom her was back on 12/18/06. Awwww, she missed me so much!

I received some of the same emails. I got the one requesting the $970.00 on the same day as the others on here (12/18/06). Has anyone else heard from her since then?

hey guys marina has been writing to me too... Asked me to send her $970.00 as well. all my emails came on the same days as all yours. Must be the same email just changing the names she sends them to. Says she is a dentist and wants to come to America and so on.. needed the money to pay for a doctor bill for her mom. yeap what a scam!

I was also writing her. When she asked for $900 for doctor bills. I wrote back and told her I only had $520. Wouldn't you know that the next time she wrote thats all she needed. So then I wrote I only have $300 now. She kept writing and dropping her rate. I was hoping to get her to $0. haha

I found information related to Lanbina Natalya. She is currently under investigation by Moscow authorities for fraud and rackateering. Also, anyone invloved with receiving money related to this scam will be prosecuted to the highest degree. As I understand it they don't go easy on people that do this sort of thing in Russia. The following is all they needed to proceed with the investigation as well as numerous scam e mail they have in their possesion.

same here first email was two months ago today on the 12/20/06 she asked for the money to help with the bill so she can still come to america. even gave me bank info and a person to send it to. http://my.inbox.com/photos/marinakarakeva is the link for her photos. also in the last email she too sent me a scan of her passport and a plane ticket for the 26 december day after her supposed birthday.

Yea - I received the same thing. I first received it through the Yahoo Personals in october. It has also been about 2 months since and I just rec'd the letter today 12/20 requesting money for the surgery. Once I saw money being requested - I figured i'd search the web. There you have it.

LOL, I not only have the same pictures as you have but Marina also sent me pictures of her passport and plane ticket for departure to NYC. She strung me on for about two months, then about three weeks ago her mother was diagnosed with cancer! Of course she hated asking me for the money to flip for part of the doctor bill. She jst asked for money on 12/18/06. Interesting, I think she tried collecting money from men's prospective deep pockets on the same day!
