Comment from Clynt

A week ago I received an email from Larisa. She is gorgeous as you can see. She wanted to marry me and have children. I thought it was a friend having a joke at my expense. Then I stumbled onto the scam site and typed in Larisa's name and some detail. Yes I was being scammed. I am still playing her ( its probably a him ) game but now I know what is happening I might just string them along.

FB - Try http://freetranslation.paralink.com. It’s free, works pretty well, and it’s easy to use. I even use it for chat. Just copy & paste your letter into the program. I use it to translate from English to Russian and Russian to English. Make sure you allow pop ups for that website first. They have a keyboard which is pretty cool too. You can type the English letter and it will show the Cyrillic letter. Hope this helps!

Yeah, I can translate letters written in Russian, too. topcat@montanadsl.net. I've been skinned a few times myself, and would like to nail a few of these bastards. You know, I had to burn an expensive plane ticket, so I thought I'd travel to Ghana to check out this scammer--1892 and 1164--a bad excuse is better than no excuse at all. Not only did I have a great time in Ghana, but I met a lovely woman (waitress in a restaurant), beyond my wildest dreams, and married her. So, take heart: wonderful things do happen if you are willing to take a chance. Just be careful. I was looking for a Russian/Ukrainian wife, too. It cost me thousands of dollars. (I visited Russian once and Ukraine *six* times, which makes a lot of it worthwhile.) I couldn't tell you with any certainty which of them were scammers, and which weren't. None of them were as obvious as the usual plane fare and visa scam, but maybe I'm an unusual pigeon: two of the women actually came to the US.

BUT BUT all the words are in the Russian alphabet...some of the letters I have even seen before, maybe some sort of online translator may work but it would take me a year to recognise all the different letters in the words..and my key pad just does not make those kind of symbols. Mike and I have been talking and he thinks he knows a Russian Professor at the university where he works may be able to translate the letter. I am going to let Mike have a go at it first and see what happens. Just hope she hasn't said anything too ''out of the ordinary' and she didn't send me any more pictures like she promised she would. IwantU is definitely an adult web site. I will keep you posted on the proceedings for sure.. and thanks for the offer John..you are my next hope...how do I send the letter to you. Hmm just wondering if you get many "Dear John" letters?? :-)

HELP !!! I jusr recieved a letter from a Russian girl on the web site IwantU...but the whole thing is in Russian or Ukrainian....I don't understand a single word. But in parts of the letter not written in Russian the word 'BAT' is mentioned a few times. If anyone out there knows how to read Russian/Ukrainian please let me know. I will gladly send you the complete letter which is attached to my orginal letter back to her from her first contact. Just tell me how to get it to you and let me know what she is saying. I think it is all a scam but I can't understand anything.
