I think you answered your question. I suspect Big Sis and Dameon were truant together. Maybe you should send her to the back of the classroom where Roamer and I can keep a very, very close eye on her. Dameon gets to sit in the corner up front with his back to the class.

OK, you computer geeks out there.....in the IP address, such as 194.67.57.47, do the last digits, in this case the 47, assign this to a particular computer at the internet cafe, or do those numbers signify a broader location? I would like facts, not just a swag (sweet, wild-assed guess.)

Dameon – Do you always correspond with AS by email? I call them (1.888.854.3803) I recently cancelled my membership too, But I called them. I called them to report scammers too. When I began speaking with customer service giving them some feedback, that’s how I was put thru by customer service to someone in marketing. As for American chicks, where on the same frequency my friend, I believe many American men feel as we do. That accounts for the growth of American guys finding foreign women online. But, that presents another unique set of problems.

I am telling you; A.S. does not care. When I re-upped with them in August; they said that they addressed the scammer problem. Since that point, I have turned in over 200 scammers. I sent numerous e-mails to them and complained. They automatically renewed my membership anyway. I called to not only complain about that, but to also ask for a refund. They said that I needed to e-mail the supervisor. I have done so twice now and still have no response. As for all the others, if you really want to be done with scammers, go to E-harmony. None there; but then there 29 points of connection don't work and the real American chicks that are there are pretty useless.

Freddyboy, from now on if a woman contacts you or vice-versa, go to the other sites to try to see if she,s a scammer....(agencyscams.com, russiantearoom.com, russian-scam.org/, jims list etc...That way your not having your time wasted, unless you just want to play with them....Then if you find that she's a scammer , then its time to play her good or dump on her...

Dameon – I agree with you 100%! I told the representative at AS the same thing. There’s definite warning signs in identifying scammers. There’s a definite pattern. The West Africans are easy to spot, poor spelling, poor sentence structure, no capitalization, they use the same pictures over and over again, stolen from the same websites. I actually compiled my own database of where many of the pictures are stolen from. It is my understanding, the FSU girls would never use an American site because it’s too expensive and there are many dating sites they can use in their home countries for free. She told me they have a computer program that supposable identifies scammer profiles and they have staff that’s suppose to be going through the profiles and identifying scammers! I asked her, why I’m still able to identify so many scammers? You would be the perfect person for that job. I think you would have 100% job satisfaction too, LOL. There located in Beverley Hills, CA. Would you be willing to relocate? Anyway, I agree should post warnings on their website, similar to a pack of cigarettes! It seems only the foreign sites do this. The big American sites like Match.com and American Singles don’t. I mentioned this to her as well.

Hey why can't 'Big Sis' contibute comments anymore?? We all still can, why can't she? Dameon you must have personal contact with her, do you know what the problem is?? And where is 'Russian Lady' has she been caught by the same problems?? Roamer my friend you are really doing an excellent job of getting a handle on this scam thing, seems like you are doing much than just posting comments. I had a girl corresponding with me [out of the blue] an obvious scammer because I asked her very specific questions...none of which were answered of course....just sent another letter that rambled on. Obviously a pre-written cut and paste sort of thing. I reported her to this site including pictures, her letters, and my letters...but because I did not wait long enough for to ask me for money...you can see she was not posted. However my good old northern buddy Mike found her on that Jim's list website as a special warning profile. Exactly same pictures and a dozen different names. Funny thing this site is so specific in it's requirements to get a scammer posted. I hate wasting my time on a known obvious scammer and yet still can't get her exposed on this web site. I guess I am going to have to be more patient in the future so I can build up some points towards a free membership[BS]. A scammer is a scammer and fuc* the free membership.

Dave - really - A.S. sux. Go onto the site between 5 AM and 8 AM and see how well they are really doing! All it takes is about three hours a day and you can eliminate 95% of the scammers from this site. I would do it for them, but they cannot afford me. Although, I must admit, I have been doing it for free for 3 months now. It is not enough for them to remove only when we complain; they need to aggressively review the online messaging site and see who is out there. They are so easy to pick out. All the W. Africans use the word "kool" and claim they are "God Fearing" in their profile. And really, I think by now; they should know all the pix from Focus Hawaii. I do! And the Russians will never chat with you online. They will only send a message with their e-mail addrress. What they (A.S.) and all free sites should do is post a warning on their home page stating that the site has been infiltrated by scammers. At least men and women can be aware of what they should look out for. As for a free membership here; all it allows is a look see at the letters that may have been provided and larger pix. Otherwise everything is still the same. I have at least another 20 coming in the next month. Some new faces, so keep an eye out.

Mike – Yes, I wish they would provide more details. Such as How many scam reports = How many points = “Full” membership. How points are rewarded for what type of information. How do we know how many points we’ve obtained? Is the membership for life? Or, what is the length of a “full” membership.
to top ^

Comment from Mike

Dave - from reading the info under the "Membership" section, it seems there is no hard number. Yoiu get points for each report you submit, and the more info you submit, the more points you get. It would help if they would say just what type of info they are looking for.
to top ^

Comment from Dave

Oh, by the way, does anyone have any information on how many scam reports it takes to obtain a free membership?
to top ^

Comment from Dave

Dameon – I submitted 2 scam reports yesterday evening, both from American Singles. It appears there not up yet. About AS, around the end of summer, I had a long conversation with marketing representative over the phone. I gave her a lot of feed back. I told her my opinion why they had so many scammers on their site was due to they where the only site I knew of that had free instant chat. Effectively a scammer could post a profile and make contact thru their instant messaging without paying. Curiously enough they discontinued free instant messaging the next week. I noticed the volume of people shown online dropped to about half. Also, AS is much more aggressive about removing scammer profiles. I call the 800 number and usually customer service will remove the profile while you’re still on the phone. I guess the problem is. As soon as a scammers profile is removed, the scammer creates a new one. To further reduce fake profiles, I think they may have to ban creation of profiles by checking IP addresses. But, it seems, AS seems to be aware of the problem at trying.

Call on your own time , call collect if you need to....I'm thinking again that we all are going about this all wrong....I think that we might be assisting in being "enablers" with their situations.....Maybe if we all change the way we try to find these women who are really honest, but just caught up in the ease with which they can scam us, then maybe we can convert them back to decent women again!!!I,ve got more than just the "concept"....Right now I'm studying ways for a lady to legitimately come to the states without all of the rig-a-ma-roll....I would like to completely write out all of the details of the workings, but then the scammers could find other ways around it to make a profit....With your e-mail access you can give my # to Dameon or Freddyboy or someone else thats trustworthy, that I wouldn't mind....What I'm finding out isn't ready to be posted for all eyes.....Let's just say that it has to do with "religious overtures"...

Comment from Dameon

As long as you can show attempt at the scam or that the photos have been used before or if they are using the standard copy/paste letters that so many of them use, you should be able to post here with no problem. If none of that applies, then just stay patient. It is these new ones who are taking there time and showing brand new faces that we need to post.
to top ^

Comment from Mike

I am working on a couple, but with the standards set forth by this site, i.e. money request letter, I can't post them eventhough I know they are scammers. The letters are the same as other scammers. Yes, they are getting more clever in how they ask for money. But there are sites out there that will post these profiles without having to show the request for money. I have missed Big Sis's comments. I can't understand why the format change has excluded her from contributing, though.

Comment from Dameon

Am I the only one working around here these days? If I don't post a scammer, no one does. OK boys - you al have fun and I will continue my cleaning up American Singles. But there are just so f'n many of them. You got to see the ones from China. They are not looking for money right away, but they fall in love faster then the FSU babes. They want you to travel to them and hopefully marry them quickly so they can come to America and get the famous "Green Card". The Fillipina's are runnning Nursing school tuition scams. And of course, lets not forget the West Africans. I still say that anyone who gets scammed by a Nigerian should really think about going for a lobotomy. Have a good day boys and girls. Big Sis sends her regards, but with the new set-up, she is unable to comment anymore; at least for now.

I have noticed, Freddyboy. I have always found it curious that Tanya and one of the regulars seem to keep the same hours.Probably it's from spending too much time tracking down she-males. It's not quite that cold here, just +8 F when I left the house. I think that's about -15C or so.

Hey Mike did you notice that there is at least 3 postings from your sweet Tanya in the last 48 hours?? That is the most ever...something is not adding up here now. Why the sudden flurry of comments from her?? Starts to make me wonder if there is not an imposter amongst our group. By the way Panther and Roamer it is -25C here this morning. The air is brittle and the snow crunches..don't run or breathe deep while you are outside here today.
