i suggested some time ago that maybe we were assisting these people by supplying pictures, and that a simple watermark such as an id number on the picture would help eliminate their utilization of this easily obtained material. the watermark would have to be in such a place to render the pix useless without alot of work. a watermarked number is not accusing the person in the pix of anything thereby side stepping any legal issues. remember these people are looking for easy street. why help them? i also thought some of the other informational comments should have been restricted from general viewing for the same reasons.

Wombat - don't you ever apologize; ever. No one here deserves the benefit of the doubt more than you. And by the way, I think the Class Monitor is going to have a go at some of your spelling. Get the dictionary out my friend :-) !

Comment from Wombat

Bill, thanks for putting us straight...I appologise for my apparent error.

Hey William, Wombat said nothing unintelligent. However, your comment to him was uncalled for and just plain stupid. Everyone appreciates yours and everyone elses comments and experiences. Lets try and keep this friendly. And don't mess with Wombat!!!

William - don't be upset with Wombat. Your printing "Russian Romance Scammer" across the pictures threw us off. Some of the sites do print words to that effect on the pictures. Initially your pictures had the appearance of having been lifted from one of those sites and posted on this one. I think that was Wombat's thinking when he saw the pictures here. Wombat is well liked, even if he is a furry little creature that burrows into the ground.

For anyone that does not know , including "wombats" that last post is from me

Yes Mike you are right. I put it there myself. Scammers will use photos they find anywhere. On profiles, modelling sites and even on Anti-scam sites like this one. No point in helping them . "wombat" : the markings are the same as #1882 because I posted that report as well. But "Wombat" your reply to that post was so stupid and ignorant I didn't waste my time answering.

Comment from Wombat

Same markings "Russian Romance Scammer" as #1882. Is what they super-impose on published scammer photos on that site. I imagine this to be for the reason that Anon' mentioned and also to stop other sites poaching their material.

Comment from Helmut

Two weeks ago we started communication until I checked her on Stop-Scammers.com: Well documented...Her email was different: kristinazakirova@mail.ru Same pics Please note uses X-Mailer: "The Bat" Watch out many of them seem to use that device...

Comment from Mike

Maybe William, who had her added, put them on the pictures?

I noticed that also and I thought that this site was doing it. I guess not. I know a few other blacklists that also mark there photos. The reason for this is so no scammer can come to the site and download these pictures so they can be used to try and scam others.

Comment from freddyboy

Why are the words "Russian Romance Scammer" printed on her pictures?? Is she also reported on another site and they put the labeling on, or did you find her on another scammer site and contacted her?? I have never seen this labeling before and was wondering why and how it got onto these pictures.
