I think also that they are taking their time and weeding out the ones that they believe wont send them any funds...... If you think about it , it does make sense...Taking more time to be more inquisitive and trying to make you fall for them deeper.......Just like fishing, when you have a large fish on your line, it is better to play them for awhile instead of trying to reel them in too fast....(Usually you snap your line)....

Warning - There are many scammers lately who are taking there sweet time. They are not outright asking for money and are taking time to read the letters and answer all questions. For those of you who are still online and hoping to meet some, please make sure that you are very careful. Roamer, a lot of what you say is true. But I still think that the scammers are really hoping to find those men who are old and desperate enough to think that this is their last chance for love and then confuse him by building up his ego and in turn, weakening his common-sense. Mike, I have to tell you something with regards to your comment, these girls never saw the communisem because it was about 16 years ago, so they are just rying to survive & pls never forget that scamming started from USA & further more, a lot of these scammers are still from the USA & their partners in other countries, ie; FSU.
Scamming is bad but they were tought by the best, the US, so they are doing it, I am against it 100% but what can we do to stop it? Well we are trying aren't we?
I met a guy about 11 years ago, his name was JJ from USA, he was doing the exact same thing but with all different people, old, young or who ever he could scam & in all different ways, not dating, he told me he was doing this from the day the net started, the FBI is still after him, so guys, we just have to be careful & vise as we are the instigators of this epedemic.

Ok - lets try this again. I would bet that 75% of the scams are actually run by men. Maybe they are local organized gangs, maybe a group of students; who knows. In some cases, they steal photos from the internet and in some cases, hire girls for a small fee for photos and to pick up the money. Obviously the names that are being used are real because otherwise they could never pick-up money from western union. I do not think it has anything to do with living conditions. It is just that they have learned capitalism very well; supply and demand. If there are enough desperate men who would be willing to buy love, then they will produce the product and once they are paid; bye-bye. And as we keep reading, there are plenty of guys willing to shell out money without every meeting them. And as Mike said, little chance of the law getting to them. Those of you who are on dating sites now should petition them to post warnings on their home page. This might help a little. But in the end, until people learn that money cannot buy love, this will continue. And to those who have been scammed, I do not mean to come down on you at all. You have all my respect and empathy. So as we say in the Bronx " STOP SENDING MONEY"

It's just my opinion, but I think that after having lived under communism for so long, they are now struggling to create a new life. Maybe in another 10 or 20 years the scam business will be no more, or at least not the extent it seems to be now. The other thing is that it's easy money with little effort and little chance of being caught and prosecuted.

Yes, the photos don't seem to be in sync with the words. At least this scammer is identified now. I'm starting to think that most Russian women on the internet are scammers, or at least trying to be. Since 2001, EVERY one I have written to eventually gets to "helping financially". .some after only three letters. Is it just because of the wretched living conditions over there, or are Russian women simply greedy little crooks???

Jessy how long were you in contact with this girl, before she sent these pictures and then asked for financial help. Really to me she looks more like a call girl trying to make some extra bucks.
