She tried to scam me as a blond and tried all the usual tricks like needing the money to travel to Moscow to stay until the visa was completed and needed money for room and board. She wasnt a good scammer and I found her easily on the blacklist. I emailed her telling her I found out about her scam and didnt hear from her for a while then all one day she started writing me again. I once again found her on another site and using the same letter she sent me but with a different name and to someone else.

Come on Dameon its only Monday morning we are not trying too hard yet......If you read some of my older postings some of them could be classified as sick.....I try harder to make people feel better except the scammers.......

I have definitely made some sick friends on this site! You boys crack me up. I made the mistake of reactivating one of my profiles on American Singles this weekend. Holy crap; I am now in touch with 10 different scammers. I swear, I think these Ivans spend most of their waking hour on the internet.

You have to understand the long and rich history between the Boston Red Sox and the Noo Yawk Yankees, Wombat. The Yankees are the Evil Empire while the Bosox are the team that will break your heart.....much like some of these scammers. See.....I managed to stay on the scammer subject! lol

Upset? Naw. It's expected the Bosox will keep screwing up in inventive ways. What would be upsetting is if they went into the playoffs with a 10 game lead over everyone and lost in the first round. At least the way they are playing now is what we have been accustomed to. And by the way...A-Rod is way over rated. lol

I already started Thursday night with 5 rum and cokes and almost a 12 pack of beerlater at home......I usually drink a pretty fair amount daily......be back on monday..........try to find the sensational alex harvey band song swamp snake.......its an oldie............

Mike - as my two worthwhile friends have stated already, the international internet dating scene is a bit complex. If you are on a free site like Yahoo, Match.Com, etc, then you will receive letters from scammers. Although there most certainly are some serious women from Russian and East Europe on these sites, may of the contacts people make are from scammers. The better chance of meeting a FSU woman would be to use one of the recommended sites. Most Russian and East European ladies are honest, proud and loyal. And they are gorgeaous! Good luck with your search. As for Roamer and Wombat - the weekend is here, my advice is for the two of you to drink heavily! :-)

I used to trust people, but after getting so many letters from Russian scammersI am seriously wondering if there's an honest Russian woman out there. lol

To all whom have been scammed, If wisdom was a natural gift well Wombat has gotten most of us beat...What he is saying is most definitely truly correct.....Some men are looking for instant gratification, and that is just wrong.......Like he said "love aint cheep",and themen who think that they can buy it,well they are just losers.....If a woman that you never met in person wrote you and sent you money to come visit her in her world, you would think shes nuts and would probably spend her money too......Men open up your eyes!!!!!!!!!!!Can you say REALITY???????

From Wombat.Okay, just to compare notes about money for foreign chics,travel,visas etc etc etc...I have a fairdinkum relationship with my Peruvian lovely(as most of my mates here now know)..anyway, the cost for me to fly there at Christmas(peak period)and fly back with her...plus visa costs,plus marriage costs (civil service only), medicals,various and many certified documents,hotel accomm',average amount of spending money etc etc...adds up to about A$11,000 Now, I do not begrudge this (i.e I am not whinging)but the point that I am making, and sharing info with you blokes,is you cannot expect sheilas from 2nd & 3rd world countries to fork out this kind of money,or any reasonable amount of it. Yes, of course , be wary of scammers as I have been in the past(to my benefit)BUT don't automatically brand a sheila a scammer if she is short of a quid or two, IF everything else is above board. Common sense and caution is the name of the game....whether she is the girl-next-door OR a Russian lovely, bloody miles away. Women are never cheap....but a good relationship is without value, IF you are not a confirmed bachelor that is !! So, "heads-up", never let your guard completely...BUT, BUT,BUT you should go to her country first to visit her....nothing beats "face to face " evaluation. If it doesn't work out....at least you have had an adventure. Okay, "end of sermon on the burrow head".
