This woman and I shared letters for 3 weeks before she asked for money. She answered most questions I asked.She first approached me through Yahoo Personals and had a new profile from Wortham, Texas, even though when I wrote back she informed me she was from Russia. The profile had disappeared one week later when I checked. The letter asking for money was obviously written by someone different than the others (different tone, better sentence structure, much better english). She was coming to visit her cousin Olga and we were supposed to meet at that time. She said she needed $2500 from me for air fare and extra to prove her financial independence to the embassy. I sent a simple reply that I would not send money. She did not tell me her last name until she wanted the money. I did a Google search and her name was on two anti-scam sites, but the photos were not the same. The photos sent to me were of a much prettier woman. She even called at the same time she sent the scam letter and left a message that sounded like a script being read.

Here's what she wrote to me looking for money:
"I am very glad to receive your letter today. Your gentle words caress my soul similarly to a breeze. I am sorry for the long absence was in Moscow and was engaged in reception of the visa. To me have told, that cannot give me the visa if I cannot have on the bank account of 3000 American dollars. To me distances of 10 days of that I could make to myself the bank account. To me as informed additional necessary conditions for trip under the working program. I should I of me on the to the bank account of Russia the sum of more than 3000 American dollars. For what to privatize an apartment it would be necessary to collect some documents and to pay 3948 American dollars for privatization of apartment will be necessary for me."

This woman, what ever her name is, and I shared 25 letters before she hit me up for $dough$. Just a month after Simeon here. This site prepared me for it. Thanks anti-scam.org

In all of her photos she either looks sick or she looks like she's about to be booked into prison. Her photos alone have probably helped keep alot of guys wallets in their pockets.
