This is very, very similar to my own story. The scammer who took me had me visit her in Gomel, Belarus. We then actually had a valid US K-1 open in Warsaw, but she kept making excuse after excuse as to why we could not plan a time to meet in Warsaw and / or for her to go there alone to visit the embassy. Eventually I did an Internet search for her and found her on several scam report sites. So I actually met another mark who had visited her during the time period that she was stringing me along as her 'fiancee'. See Ludmila Divachenko on this site - as reported by the other fellow. She also appears to have been in the porn business, unknown to me at the time, as well as possibly hooking, thanks to the research of the other mark. Do a Google or Yahoo search for her and you will find the earthlink site I have posted dedicated to her. All of the scam postings seem to have shut her down - but the local authorities in Belarus are useless except when it comes to keeping their little Hitler, President Lukashenko, in office.
