She is using the name Natasha Karpova now. Many things in her story doesn't add up, and she never answears a question. She claimed that she needed 790$ to buy airplane tickets from moscow to Sweden (Stockholm). I checked with the airline company (Aeroflot)and a ticket only costed 250$. I confronted her with it and her answear was this: "This price was established by my agency"

Under the name Alina, this scammer contacted me first out of the blue. She never told me where she got my email address. I asked where she got my info from but never responded. Instead she wrote to me long letters telling me about her living situation in Russia and how hard it is to get by there, specially for a young woman like her. She was supposed to come to the US through an agency that would provide information about work and airfair, this being the reason to aske me where I lived. First red flag since we all know about working permits in the US, etc. Right? She told me she lived in Olha. She contacted me first on June 1. By June 6 she had the whole thing wrapped up but I did not get the bait. Instead I told her there was going to be no money and she never bothered me again. She sent me tons of pictures including her passport, some of them I found in this list. At the end of the six days she was in Moscow to go to the agency. Obviously she was there all the time and she explained to me her feelings about the crazy eyed people in the streets of Moscow, how life was easier in her little town, etc. She wrote long letters never addressing my questions and comments, even asking to re confirm the name of airports to fly to from Moscow, etc. From the start she aims to reach your soft spot in your heart so one feels sorry for her and that is her way of getting you ready to fall in the trap she has been preparing all along. I think it is a well planned scam and she is probably getting a lot of money from men. Men should learn to keep their heads cool against the charms of women like this. I am sure this is their way of life, they are pros. I keep the letters in case someone wants to read them or write about the architecture of a scam, with love, from Russia...

Comment from Mr. T

He he, I'm writing with her now, same story, different name, now Tatyana. From what she's writing, she'll send me travel info tomorrow. What I find interesting is that she apparently does read the replies, she allways refers to "your country", never the countries name. New it was a scam from the start, just wanted to see how this works and what it's like.
