# Details: I would like to report to you about a scammer Maia Meshkova (23 yo.) from Ryazan, Russia. She has profiles posted on various free sites such as Matchdoctor under the name of "PrettyMaia" and at Free Russian Personals #43040. Her full name is: Maia Meshkova, Belyakova street 10, flat 2., Ryazan, Russia 390015 DOB Dec. 17, 1978 Tel# -7-0912-535060 . She uses various e-mail addresses-E-mails used - maya@parus.ryazan.ru, zuv@parus.ryazan.ru, root@post.ufps.ryazan.su. The AGENCY she uses-Parus. "E-mail my agency is Paruszuv@parus.ryazan.ru Address: Ryazan Lenin street 1. Name boss of agency Arhipov Sergei Petrovich. Number phone is 7-0912-823615" ( I do not know if they have anything to do with this lady or not ?) This is a very interesting scammer and it appears to be a family business, as the mother is involved in the scamming as well. She first tried to use the standard money for letters scam and wanted for me to send her $60 by Western Union for a month of correspondence. I of course offered to help her with the costs of her letters at no cost to her by using another letter translation agency ( Chumak Travel Agency www.ukrainetour.com) where she could send her e-mails to. She of course wanted nothing to do with this and refused never giving any specific reason for her not wanting to use this letter agency. At this point I knew full well that her main and only interest was in fact getting $ and I knew that she was in fact a SCAMMER. I never heard back from her again and she never gave any reason for her refusal to use another letter agency. I should have posted her profile as a scammer then but I guess I was soft in my old age. I recently came across a new posting of her profile once again and sent her a letter and told her that I was planning to travel to Moscow and would like to be able to meet her in person. She of course said how interested she was in meeting with me and wanted to come to Moscow very much to see me and was very excited. I had my travel agency which has an affiliate located in Moscow contact her and to tell her that I would pay for her train tickets to Moscow (about $30 ) and that I would have a travel agency get her tickets to go to Moscow. Sure enough once gain she refused this and wanted money( $200 to $300 ) sent by Western Union for her travel to get to Moscow by special taxi, as she stated that she did not take trains. This is her reply and the report from my travel agent ( Chumak Travel Agency www.ukrainetour.com) Report from my Travel Agency: ......"Maya Meshkova from Ryazan told our agents that "her family does not use trains!!! only taxi!!! and we want $200-300 WU transfer for a car ride to Moscow" I asked my Travel Agency to contact her once again and to tell her that I would be glad to pay for her to take a Taxi to get to Moscow and that I would pay for it and to have them set up the transportation for her to get to Moscow via taxi. The travel agency agent spoke to her mother about this and the mother appears to be in the scam as well because she also stated that her daughter would only travel to Moscow by a special taxi ( whatever that means?) and would not want just any kind of taxi for her daughter to travel to Moscow and to send $300 by Western Union so that they could get this special taxi. I wrote to Maia and she of course wanted nothing to do with my getting her a taxi and wanted to make her own plans and needed $ to be sent by Western Union of course. I also spoke to her by phone about this even though her English was not good she certainly knew how to say the words "Western Union" very well and again refused any kind of travel plans from my travel agency and only wanted me to send her $ by Western Union so that she could take her special taxi to Moscow! "Just a word of caution and advice: Never, ever send money to any ladies for her letter correspondence and also travel if you do not know them well and have not personally met with them yet. You should always use an outside source for your letter translations and also for any kind travel plans. Use an agency that you can trust and this will prevent a lot of the scamming that takes place currently. If a lady has serious intentions, she will be very honored and happy to use your agency for letters or travel. If she refuses and only wants to use her agency for her letters or only wants to make her own travel plans and get an apartment for you and insists on it, this should be a big red flag that she has other motives." Please add this special young lady to your scammer list, as I am sure she will look quite lovely on it an do that others are not fooled into sending this scammer any money at all! Sincerely, S.H.

Hello John!
Thank you very much for your letter. I was glad to get it and
I'm glad to get acquainted with you.
I live in Ryazan, a nice Russian town that is situated not far from Moscow.
I live with my parents. My grandfather was a military man, a pilot. My
father too, but now he is retired. In my family there are representatives of
different professions - doctors, teachers, officers. I'm a student of Trade
University.
I have many different interests. I like reading, cinema, theatre, painting.
I like listening to music, meeting interesting people. I value true
friendship, honesty and sincerety in relationship between people, I hate
hypocrisy, lie, violence. As for my character... they say I'm kind, sincere,
calm and tender. I like home, like when it is cosy and warm, clean and
comfortable. I'm romantic ans I believe in love. Now I dream to meet a
right man and to have a nice family. There is nothing better when you know,
that there is a man who loves and understands you. And I want my future
longlife partner will be my soulmate, my careful and loving husband and a
kind father for our future kids. I haven't met such a man yet, I don't see
such a man among people around me. It's a pity but in most of cases Russian
young men are simply careless fellows. They don't want to have families. As
for me, I don't look for love affairs, adventures and so on. No, I'm
seriously marriage minded.
What qualities I value in men? Kindness, honesty, decency, faithfulness and
independence. It doesn't matter where my future longlife partner lives, if
people love each other they will be able to overcome all obstacles and will
be very happy together.
If you are seriously minded I'll be glad to get your answer. And could you
send me your pictures?
Sorry for my English is far from being perfect.
Tell me more about yourself, please. Don't hesitate to ask me questions.
I'll answer them with pleasure.
Maia.

Dear John!
Thank you very much for your lovely and warm letter. I was very glad to hear from you again. I reread the linest of your letter and it seems to me that we are good friends already. I appreciate everything you are writing about, I share your views on life. And believe that in life you are the same strong, intelligent and generous as in your letter. I value such people and I respect those who struggle for the happiness. I'm very glad that we've met in this great Internet world.
Well, let me tell you a bit more about my home town. Ryazan is a typical
Russian town. It's situated about 180km from Moscow. It's neither big nor
small about 600 000 people live here. Ryazan was founded in 1095, it has a
rich history and there are many historical monuments here.
My town is surrounded with nice nature and I enjoy spending my summer
vacation in the countryside. There are many forestes, rivers, lakes here and
I like swimming there.
I'm very curious about the world around me, I'd like to travel to see
new countries, meet new people. It is so interesting! But I have never
been abroad, travelling is very expensive now. So I travel watching TV
programmes only...
Dear John! You write about visit Russia. I'd be glad to meet you in
Moscow in future. It's not a problem for me to come to Moscow, it will
take me only 3 hours to get it by car. So, let's use this chance of
getting to learn each other better.
You ask my home address and full name.
Maia Vladimirovna Meshkova

Well, I hope to hear from you soon,
Best wishes,
Maia.

Hello John
I'm sorry that I was silent for such a long time. I haven't been in town for some days. I stayed in the countryside together with my grandmother. She is 80 and she lives in a small country house in a very picturesque place near Ryazan. There is a river and a lake there. There is much fish in the lake and sometimes my father and I go fishing. It's such a pleasure to sit in the silence and listen to the birds' singing! The weather was hot all those days and we went swimming and sunburn. It was great! I had much joy staying there. I went to the forest and gathered mushrooms. I have a dog, his name is Dick and I always take him with me. He is so funny! He likes to run after butterflies and gragonflies.
Well, now I've come back and will be glad to continue our corresponding.
I wait eaherly for your new letter.
Sincerely yours,

Dear John,
How are you?
I hope you are OK.
My feelings about you are warm and I believe that you are becoming good friends.
I haven't found a man to share my life with. You know my best desire now is to meet the best beloved man and to love
and to be loved. And frankly speaking I feel that there is something special in your personality and I can trust you.
It's always pleasant when you are sure that your partner will understand and support you in any situation, that he
will never hurt or betray you. Only relationships based on mutual understanding, faithfulness and honesty can be
really happy. I'm sure that you agree with me.
Yesterday I met with my classmates with whom we studied at school. We meet every year in summer. We talked much,
remembered funny stories from our school life and talked about our present life. Some of the girls are married and
have kids, some have already graduated from the University, some of us still study. It's always pleasant to see those
you spent childhood and youth with.
You write me of my thoughts on visiting me in to you in Chicago. But
it is very difficult to get the American Visa for Russian single
women. You ask my phone number. My number is 7-0912-535060. But , my
speaking English is far from being perfect, but we'll able to talk a
little.
Have a nice weekend,
Maia.

Dear John!
Thank you very much for your letter and providing me so much joy and
happiness that sometimes it's hard to contain what I feel for you. And
it is wonderful to know that there is someone even thousand of miles
away, that feels the same as I do about life and what each of us wants
from this life.
Dear John! I think, there is no denyting the fact that a person
can't live in isolation. It is very important for a human being to
have a friend with whom he can be sincere and frank. It's great to
think that there is someone to turn to for help and advice, someone
who will symphatise with you and stand by you in any situation and who
will tell you the bitter truth of necessary. Everyone knows that the
more we love our friends the less we flatter them. Real friendship is
a thing that we cherish, but true friends are not so easy to come by.
Do you agree with me?
You asked me about Moscow and Odessa or Crimea. Yes, I like Yalta very
much and sea and sun on the beach in Yalta. I visit Moscow very often.
I wrote you that I study at Trading-commercial University. Sometimes
after class I with my friends visit to Moscow. I like very much, red
Square, Alexandr Park, the Cathedral of St.Vasil the Blessed.
Well, I'm waiting your next letter and send my picture for you.
Sincerely,
Maia.

Hello my beautiful Maia,

I am very happy to hear from you again. I want to continue our letters very
much and totally understand your financial situation and want to be able to
help you so that you do not have to pay any money for our letters. We can
continue to write to each other still but you must use my agency. The
important thing is that we are able to write to each other.

I already have an account with a big credit in it with a company which will
translate our letters to each other. It makes no sense for me to have to use
two different agencies especially when I already have an account with a big
credit. You simply write your letter in Russian and mail it to them and they
are very near to you in Moscow. Once they get your letter they will
translate it and send me your letter by e-mail in English to me. You can
even send photos and they will scan and send me a copy and then return your
photo back to you. This way it will cost you nothing except the cost of a
postage stamp. Is this not a wonderful idea and solution to our problems and
money will no longer be an issue.

You also have a second option and that is to send your e-mails in Russian
directly to them at xxxxxxxx@ukrainetour.com and they will translate
them and send me a copy of your letter in English to me. The only problem
with this is you still will have to use e-mail to send your letters. You can
use the internet cafe and the cost is only about 40 rubles an hour, as I
have already asked many people about the costs. $60 is way too much money to
be paying especially if it costs less then 40 rubles or a little bit more
than $1 for an hour. The most money you will need should only be about $5 a
month to use the internet cafe as this will be almost 5 hours at the
internet cafe which is plenty of time for you to send your letters in
Russian to my agency e-mail address if you wish to use this method. If you
just want to send written letters it will cost you nothing at all except the
cost of a postage stamp.

It is your choice but the first method will not cost you any money at all
and the second will also be very inexpensive as well as there is no cost for
the translation. I will give you the mailing address of this company which
is near you and you can now send your letters to. I hope to hear back from
you soon with your answer as to which method you prefer.

With a big kiss,

John

Hello my beautiful Maia,

I am happy once again to hear back from you. You still have not told me
which method you wish to use to now send your letters? Do you wish to still
use the internet and send you letters in Russian to
xxxxxxxxxx@ukrainetour.com and they will translate them or do you wish to
send your letters by regular mail to their address in Moscow where they will
send me your letters by internet once they receive them from you. Which
method do you prefer to use? Please let me know as $50 for internet use is
way too much money, as it only costs about $1 an hour (30 Rubles ) to use
the internet cafe and even less to send a letter by regular mail. You
probably only need about $5 a month to use the internet or may be even less
and you can write to me in your own language and they will translate your
letters into English for me. It only costs a postage stamp to send your
letters in Russian to the agency in Moscow. I do hope to hear from you soon
with your answer as to which type of service you wish to use. I do want to
help you very much and hope to be able to meet with you in the very near

You MUST now use my agency as your agency is much too expensive! $60 a month
is not a good deal at all since I know that to use the internet cafe is less
then $1 an hour. Why should we be paying $60 a month when we do not have to?
It is much less to use MY AGENCY. It should not matter to you at all how we
will now send our letters to each other, as long as we will still be able to
still write to each other. Do you not agree? My agency will cost much less
money to use, do you not agree? Please let me know which method of letters
you wish to use 1- Internet cafe sending the letters to the e-mail address
of my agency or 2- Letters by regular mail to Moscow. These are the only
choices that we have to use as we are not going to use your agency because
it is too expensive. Please let me know which you prefer as I do not want
money to become an issue between us at all and that is why we must use my

I would like to report to you about a scammer Maia Meshkova (23 yo.) from Ryazan, Russia. She has profiles posted on various free sites such as Matchdoctor under the name of "PrettyMaia" and at Free Russian Personals #43040. Her full name is:

Maia Meshkova, Belyakova street 10, flat 2., Ryazan, Russia 390015
DOB Dec. 17, 1978 Tel# -7-0912-535060 .

She uses various e-mail addresses-E-mail's used - maya@parus.ryazan.ru, zuv@parus.ryazan.ru, root@post.ufps.ryazan.su.

The AGENCY she uses-Parus. "E-mail my agency is Paruszuv@parus.ryazan.ru Address: Ryazan Lenin street 1. Name boss of agency Arhipov Sergei Petrovich. Number phone is 7-0912-823615" ( I do not know if they have anything to do with this lady or not ?)

This is a very interesting scammer and it appears to be a family business, as the mother is involved in the scamming as well.

This is her reply and the report from my travel agent ( Chumak Travel Agency www.ukrainetour.com)

Report from my Travel Agency: ......"Maya Meshkova from Ryazan told our agents that "her family does not use trains!!! only taxi!!! and we want $200-300 WU transfer for a car ride to Moscow"

I asked my Travel Agency to contact her once again and to tell her that I would be glad to pay for her to take a Taxi to get to Moscow and that I would pay for it and to have them set up the transportation for her to get to Moscow via taxi.

If she refuses and only wants to use her agency for her letters or only wants to make her own travel plans and get an apartment for you and insists on it, this should be a big red flag that she has other motives."

Please add this special young lady to your scammer list, as I am sure she will look quite lovely on it an do that others are not fooled into sending this scammer any money at all!

Sincerely,

S.H.

Please let me know which you prefer as I do not want

that we could really meet in the future. If your intentions are real and you
are serious about me then it should not matter at all how you send your
letters to me and you would decide to use my agency to send your letters
through as I have told you that I will pay for all of the costs and you do
not have any costs to you. The fact that you state that you can not use my
agency is very strange if you are serious about me.

Why is it that you can only use your agency? What is so special about them?
If you use my agency I do not need to send you any money directly, as I have
a credit with my agency and everything is already paid for. Is this the real
reason you really do not want to use my agency? Why is it that you can not
and will not use my agency since it is free to you and you do not have to
worry about costs anymore? Something is not right here, as you should not
really care at all if you use my agency so long as you are able to still
write me letters.

Please explain to me exactly why you refuse to use my agency when you have
no money to pay for your own agency and if you do not use my agency then we
will not have any more letters to each other. Is this what you truly want?
Do I mean so little to you that you would prefer to send no letters at all
instead of using my agency, it does not make any sense if you are really
serious about me does it? I hope to hear from you again.

With a big kiss,

John

Moscow"

Please, call us now is you can.

e-mail: maya@parus.ryazan.ru , zuv@parus.ryazan.ru , root@post.ufps.ryazan.su

DOB: Dec. 17, 1978

Sincerely,

S.H.

Maia.
