# Details: Classic attempt at bank fraud - except this one posed as an Amreican woman from Carroll, IA. This person mailed me and seemed like a legitimate American woman in her first two e-mails. Then in her 3rd e-mail, this person said that (s)he was going on a business trip to Ukraine and Nigeria (how 'bout that), but would e-mail me from her laptop. Also, all of her family lived in Glasgow, Scotland, and (s)he had no friends in the USA (seemed strange from a woman who said in her profile that she was Native American). Then, earlier today, (s)he said (s)he was in a car accident in Nigeria, lost all her money and credit cards, and asked me for help (see her message pasted below). Then I looked back at her earlier messages, and noticed that (s)he never addressed me by name. I tried to get more pix of the woman from the website, but the profile disappeared before I could do so.
I have bad news for you dear,this my trip has been shattered, around 5pm last night ,(african time)
I was involved in an auto accident where i was unconscious for hours,the last thing i remembered was that i
told the driver of the cab to slow down ,as he was already over -speeding from the moment we approached
a bridge called the (third mainland bridge),I thank god for my life ,i only sustained minor injuries especially on
my ankle,i had a twisted ankle and some minor bruise at the back of my neck,I thank God i did not feel to cool
for the seat belts,maybe i would have been dead now,the cab almost plunged into the ocean,I lost my handbag where i have so many of my valuables,i only have my passport and drivers licence,and my laptop found in the car .
But all of my credit card and cash were all gone,I am re-cupearting and i hope i will get better and leave for the US immediately for proper medical attention and care.
I'm shy to talk to you and ask you for a favor and i hope i won't get on ur nerves for asking you these,I'd like to talk to you but am shy and dont know what you may think about me so i decided to send you this email,i hope i wont loose you and i hope u understand how i feel and how bored,sick and tired of where i'm right now.
There is a client of mine who owes me some money,he lives in maine ,he has agreed to send me a money order so i can cash and use it to secure my ticket,BTA,Medicals e.t.c But he's always very busy and he can only send me a money order from maine but I cannot cash it here in Nigeria,bcuz there is no USA financial institution here which will process the payment,so i want you to help me cash it at your bank.
