Giovanni - NYC's complete cultural diversity spans all 5 boroughs. You can go into any bar, museum, restaurant, sporting event in NYC and meet people from all over the world. It is what makes this city so unique. And it is considered one of the safest 'Large" cities in the world. The living population is about 9 million with the working population being over 12 million. You cannot help but meet people here if you are so inclined. If you have not visited here, I suggest that one day you do. Just remember, it is expensive here as well. It is the highest taxed city in the US of A. But I do dream of retiring in Italy, specifically Calbria or Sicily.

SOE - actually the whole industry is shot to hell. As the economies of Russia and Ukraine improve less and less women want to get out. Scammers and scam profiles have taken their place because there still is a demand for beautiful women. Russia and Ukraine are no longer able to supply the afore mentioned in sufficient quantity for the demand. Therefore scams take place and a lot of guys are suckers.

I do love Florence, but I can do without Rome, Venice or Milan. But if I had my choice, it would be the small downs in Calabria or perhaps Cefalu, Sicily and its surrounding areas. Even my Grandparents hometown of Gangi would be preferable to me. But in the context of my previous coments, it is unlikely that you will meet women from over 23o different countries in any city in Italy.

It would be also interesting to know how did you get in direct contact with "her"? (Get her email address?) Does Anastasiadate.com offer advice on how not to get scammed and did you heed that advice? Were you in close consultation with Anastasiadate and did you tell them that you were going to send money to this "person"? The other option is that Anastasiadate is behind this scam, creating a fake profile, then scamming their paying clients for even more money.
