ARGHHH why why why WHY did you make me read that article? I was all happy bloinggg about the superficial Oscars and now I'm going to have to go and do that post about Tom Monaghan and his nutty Catholic town he's building. Leave it to the Herald to do an entire article about this guy and his wacked views, while limiting the counterpoint to a Fox News-esque footnote at the end of the article from what prominent figurehead? "Marion Rudolph of Peabody."And don't even get me started on "A Parent's Guide to Preventing Homosexuality." Ideas like this one are the reason that gay teenagers have such high suicide rates. Lesson #1: Read the Globe instead.

Thank you for sharing the YouTube Video! Very nicley done. Most of my family on my mother's side still reside in the Mid-Michigan area and I shared your blog and the video with them. I grew up in the Vassar area then the family moved to Alpena when I was 13 and graduated from there. I currently reside in Orlando (almost 17 years now) and I ran across this post while working on a wordpress site that I manage for another small town and it came across the Zemanta suggestions and I immediately had to check it out! Again, thank you for sharing. It's great that history is not lost and still admired by many especially for the small towns of America!!

Gosh Forrest I haven't heard from you for a long time, I was worried something had happened to you. I check into the website here once in awhile to say "HI" to my old buddies here but you have been missing in action as of late. My life is really good Forrest, my new Filipina wife is more than I could have ever dreamed of. Also about 10 days ago I was blessed with a brand new grand daughter, WOW. Also we have finally managed to navigate the horrors of immigration to Canada and in 2 or 3 weeks my wifes family should be landing in the Winnipeg airport, finally after she has been struggling to keep them well and alive and educated for almost 20 years now...like a dream coming true. My wife has a 4 year old grand daughter she has never hugged yet. You can't believe the tears that are already being shed. My life is full and pleasant Forrest, of course there is never enough money and day to day bumps in the road will always be a part of life, but somehow now they just arn't that important anymore. I still get a blast out of how these guys with huge egos cry like babies when they get burnt by a pretty picture, like I have mentioned before I am now completely on the side of the scammers, only fools and brain dead ego maniacs would still be falling for these stupid old scams. Great to hear from you again Forrest, Please keep in contact.

This is a model of some sort or other, she sure knows how to pose for the camera, so as usual they are stolen pics. The girl in pic #2 is a different girl than the other pics, dumb ass. It really does seem like every girl on the dating sites from Russia and the Ukraine are all just out to scam. But they must still be getting enough idiots sending money to make it worth their while. Too bad guys don't just stop contacting ANY girl from eastern europe.
