I received this email as well and, like you, iiaedmmtely thought it was a scam. Although I wasn't brave enough to open the attachments, it was an amusing read. What about "a Germany language"? I wonder which one of the many they mean... But if you're going to send out a scam, at least check your grammar, please. :-)

Thanks, Whitney! I think it'd be great if others did their own posts on the cool ploepe they've rediscovered through Facebook. To be honest, I had a hard time choosing just a few to highlight. I was thinking of making it a series. If you do a similar post, definitely come back and leave a comment with the link so we can share. (And, yes, you did just use the word meme. LOL!)

Dr.Reynolds and the crew of Ocean Watch,I took a Lot of oceanography cersuos for my Ocean Engineering degree, including a graduate physical oceanography course. You summarized it all in a succinct fashion. I'm glad I didn't have to write the equations again. Thank you for the excellent discussion.I met the crew when Ocean Watch was in Juneau last June, and have been following the voyage closely.. If you all are ever in Juneau again, you are all welcome aboard S/V Shannon in Douglas Harbor.Best regards,Norman Jack' BrandtCWO, USN, Ret.

I was in touch with this 'lady' about 18 months ago. She has stolen the photos from a Hawain model agency site. Her real name is Nimu, a prossie from Lagos. She is well reported by me and others on anothe scam busting site. She actually sent me a cheque (forged!)_ for £4000. I was supposed to bank it and send her the balance. "Dad owed money from a man in London" amazing--green pigs just keep flying pst my window--really they DO!!!

Hey Koos, you wouldn't happen to know where these pictures might have come from do you??? They definitely aren't from the usual "Focus Hawaii"!!! And that scares me, that they have found another place to steal their pictures from.....

You can make them stop easily....Make up a fake obituary and send it to them, listing them as your sole heir, but only if they arrive within 3 days will they be able to receive your estate....Once the scammer realizes they have to act fast, they screw themselves wondering what in the hell to do....

I have two Nigerian scammers online now. I guarantee you that you will all be hysterical when I post them. This picture has been posted before. But just in case to those who may be new here. If you receive an e-mail from Nigeria, Ghana, Niger or Senegal and they proclaim there love for you; do not believe them, EVER!
