Russian lady i know what you are talking about my fiancee lives in ukraine and one day one of my friends was looking through the sites and came across her photos they were old ones and 1 new one from when i met her.Under a weird name and wrong age and birthdate so i wrote the dating site and asked them to remove them and they did a couple of days later i started to browse the sites and saw more i did not like them being out there some poor guy might get scammed in this way i also told her about it and she was very angry and asked me to keep checking....

American style English is generally fine...but still does not hurt to have it spelt correctly.My goal is not to be cheeky (well,not in an nasty way,anyway) but to encourage thought in spelling ,so that it translates ok for the recipient,when the troops are writing to the FSU....it will help...but not as a shield against scamming of course !! As much as I like taking the weekend off from here - I just need to comment on something. Wombat and Russian Lady both express themselves very well here. And men do lose their brains on a pretty face, but I fear the bigger problem is not the scammers or the scammed. The websites for dating that are out there seem to not care. They allow the ability to post free profiles. This opens the door for much of this insanity. These individuals can show whatever pictures they want and they can Instant Message for free. And once the flood gates are opened, then nothing is left in its wake. Sites like Yahoo, Match.com, American Singles need to at least post warnings on their home page of the possibility that there are illegal activities going on. On American Singles, a scammer can be removed one day and they will be back on the next with the same pictures. We cannot stop people from taking advantage of others. Sadly, this is the world we live in. But we can at least try and make it more difficult for them. We all search for for that one special person. Don't send money! - Don't fall in love with a picture! - Don't fall in love with sweet words! Use your common sense - get on a plane and be aware of all possibilities; both true love and true sadness. If you really wish to meet a woman from Russia or an Eastern European Country, go to the well established sites. Not the free ones. They may cost you money, but at least you get a sense of what is real. That is not to say that scammers don't sneak onto these sites now and then, but these sites deal with them accordingly if caught. Thank you Russian Lady for giving us a different perspective on this subject.

I was simply trying to say that due to men being ignorant in such issues (cannot figure out who's real and who's a playboy scan), they send money to the scammer, and after that they are scared of a real beautiful woman. And so for the beautiful women it's more difficult to meet a real man. Of course, it can be easy if a girl just wanted to get married for a foreign passport. But the problem is that some of such ladies (much more often than ordinarily looking ones) are really looking for a soulmate, who will love and respect them, who can give a good and really secure life for them. So, then foreign men say that such girls are too selective, and it's also bad. :-)

Hi Gents! I think it would be better, if the men out there would NOT save on Playboy subscriptions, cause then they would easily recognize all those stolen photos of models. And the scam would not be fed. And one more thing. I've got a girlfriend who's very beautiful. So, it's difficult for her to find a man, cause men think 1) those are not her photos; 2) the photos of her have been phtoshopped; 3) she's had some plastic surgery; but none of it is true. Besides scammers steal her photos from time to time.
