An i read before, Champagne is normal an all the womans know the price.

I have never seen anyone look so unhappy because they recieved champagne, roses and chocolates as a gift from a man onthe other side of the world. At least a little pretend smile would have been nice. What was she expecting you to send her George? Maybe she only wanted diamonds and cash??

Yes you should have known from that frown on her face. Her utter disappointment at the cheap chocolates and cheap champagne. You have to understand that these flower delivery companies send the absolute cheapest they can buy locally. The chocolates probably cost them $2 and the champagne $3 (Sovietskoe). The roses here were probably the most expensive item at about $3 a piece.
