Details: This woman is running a sophisticated scam with a female interpreter in Minsk (Valerie). Initially, she does not discuss money, but after a short period of time she starts to bait you for the visa and air fare scenario. I explained that I would come see her, so then it was money for the interpreter (Valerie) to make the arrangements and for a retainer for the interpreter. She has since pestered me for money for all sorts of things associated with my proposed trip, her future trip to the USA and for her family problems (retired parents are sick, daughter's school, brother in trouble, etc.). Refuses to give out phone numbers. Claims her English is not good enough to talk on the phone. Investigator indicated that she had a criminal record.

Details: After a couple of letters, she tells you she will not proceed without being able to visit you. She says she can get visa, wants you to pay for it & airfare. Wanted money for internet access, tuition for kid and apartment.
