# Details: This began in October 2014. I had recently joined a dating site in the UK , Date Locally, when out of the blue Olga got in touch with me, the profile said she was from Leicester in the UK,she said that she would like to meet. Could I use her email address , Koyakutan@ gmx.com.which I did,the following Mail said she was from Russia. Rostov on Don area. A few letters were exchanged saying how she would never leave Russia and how beautiful the country was. I asked for some details about herself as I had sent a few from me. The following letters included photographs being at work showing she worked for the rail tracks which she had already said where she was a manager. The next letters contained more personal details her home address ,Beriozovaya Roscha, street Stepnaya 11,index 347706 which she said was a cottage, the telephone number was 7 950 839 3165 but she said the telephone does not work very well so it would be very difficult to phone. I googled the address and found the village but I could not find the telephone number . I asked a few more question and at first she said she would answer all questions .at first she did but then complained that there were to many so I only asked a few at a time. She gave me her daughters name , Masha, who she lived with for some time and moved out when Masha got married. Olga said she was 168cm tall had blue eyes blonde hair and was born 29-09-1973. All very believable. She was emailing most days but never at the weekend because this was done in her lunch time.the Internet did not work from her home. Sometimes the letters were good English, most times they were bad and she started to write the same lines at the beginning. I asked could she send photos of her house or with her daughter, this was refused. After more letters were exchanged she suggested that maybe she would come to me as it would be easier than me going to Russia which I agreed to. I asked how long would this be for and how would she get the time from work. She said it would be for several weeks and there would be no problem getting the time from work all she needed was help. I asked for a recent photograph and what was she thinking about to get here. The following mail was a beautiful photograph of her and the amount she needed and her account number, I thought no person would send these details if they were not for real. It was to be sent to Olga Alekseenva Bogdanova,Stella Bank,Bolshaya, Rostov on Don, 400 euros for the paper work,I tried to send the money but it would not go through.when I emailed her of the problem she said the account was in her married name and had not been used for a long time so she said that she changed her name to her maiden name of Olya Allikina and the bank clerk suggested she uses Azimo. I questioned all that. She said she had used her married name for a long time and never thought about changing it. The money was sent , I told her she would need proof of address and her Russian I D to get the money .The money was collected again I thought she was for real. Then she wanted 400 euros to get to Moscow which included accommodation and the flight tickets to get to the UK, in the meantime she said she had applied for her passport and she would send a copy of passport and air tickets. The money was sent and collected via Azimo again. There was no letters for a couple of days. I received a letter saying that she had been to the consulate and applied for a visa but they wanted ??4500 so that she could stay for 90 days. I asked where she was staying in Moscow and room number also a copy of the passport. She sent copy of air tickets only. I asked again about the hotel and passport. The following letter had the Salut Hotel , Moscow,no room number, but a copy of passport.I then asked for room number again so I could phone the hotel and speak to her. She said it was 111 . When I found the hotel on the internet I phoned and inquired, the hotel had nothing on thier computer of such a person and the room number needed four digits. My letter to her told her of what I found out and that the passport was a fake because the date did not match her recent photograph,it was illegal, she would not get into the UK. Also no money was needed to leave Russia. Her reply was that she was staying in the air port lounge and claimed the photo on the passport was her. I did not send ??4500 . Lots of warning signs I took no notice of,having read about scammers on your site and others.
