# Name:      Katya Ivanova

# E-mail:     Baby_Lovers@rambler.ru

# Address:  Russia , Cheboksary

# Seen at:   Love.org dating site

# Dangerous: 32%

# Details: I met a lady thru the Lov.org dating site, and have been emailing her for almost 2 month's now.
She contacted me first by email.
  When I first asked her for her address she gave me a her name,& address as;

  Katya Ivanova
  Lenin 54-75
  Cheboksary, Russia.

I was kind of suspicious of this, and asked her again if this was her address.
A few day's later she then sent me her name, and a diffrent address.

  Katya Ivanova
  p.o. box 141,
  Index 428034,
  branch of communication 34,
  Cheboksary, Russia.

She said that she used a internet cafe to send and receive her email's, and that it cost $3.00 an hour.

I used the second address and sent her a bubble package with a map of Nebraska, a letter, several candy bars,
and a large amount of candy.
She said that they never got the package, and that the postal service in Russia was not very reliable,
and either would get stolen or lost most of the time.

Then after 2 weeks of emailing her, Katya said that she was sick, and had to stay in the hospital for three
  weeks.
She said that she had a inflammation of the kidneys, and the cost of the medicine would be 1000 Roubles.
She never asked me directly for any money, but she said that it would take a long time to save for the cost
of the medicine, and that her folks helped
some with the cost, but it was not enough.
She said that she could not work, and needed her mom's help to go to the internet cafe to get my email's
  and send me a email.
If she had such a high bill for medicine and hospital/doctor bill's, where did she get
the money needed for the internet cost's?

I told her that I could not help her with the cost of the medicine, or the hospital/doctor bills, and that all I could offer was my moral support and email's.
I then told her that I would send another package that would be registered, and that she or her folks
would have to sign for it.
I sent her a email that I would send the package the next day.
I emailed her later that night to ask if the second address she gave me was correct if I put it on the package as she had printed it in that email.
I waited for a reply on the address, and she never replied back to me.
So I never sent the second package.
It did show that she was was logging onto the Lov.org dating site every day after she said that she had to
stay in the hospital, and needed help from her mom to go to the cafe, if the doctor gave her permission to
  go to the cafe.
I dont think that she was sick at all, and had found someone else to scam after finding out that I would not send her any money.
Luckly, I learned a lesson without losing much.
  Thank you very much.
