# Scam scenarios: Money for study visa
# Details: Had my email address from some unspecified (forgotten) dating site. Wrote nice emails about her life in Tomsk, hobbies etc. Looking for love. Sent lots of photos of herself. Wanted to study in my country (United Kingdom) (medical work or bookkeeping but no final details ever shared) Said she did not want my money. Then she asked for 240 US Dollars for a study visa, which actually costs only about half that for the UK. I refused and ended the contact. But she came back to me telling me she had sold her fur coat to pay for visa. Now tells me she is in Moscow for visa interview (successful!) and asks for 376 US Dollars towards her air fare to London. Attaches scanned copy of study visa which appears to be fake (spelling:Moskow) and probably based on a study visa (Visum) for Germany - with no mention of United Kingdom shown. I have refused her latest request and replied exposing her ignorance of the UK visa process - interviews are held in regional centres, NOT Moscow, as far as my research shows. Also she promises to replay the money by working here, which I believe is not allowed. Seemed a nice, decent ordinary, hardworking girl but turned out no different from many others, I am sad to say.
